Better get out of Chef Curry’s way. He stated after the last game’s loss, ”We need to win immediately.” He’s fired up and so am I.
If Curry says he’s going to win immediately. I’m taking his word for it, especially since they play another bottom-tier team who has also endured a slow start.
Zach LaVine struggled in his game scoring the most on the team with only 17 points. That speaks even less for his teammates. Sorry Bulls fans, not hating. Just feel bad watching this rebuild with no end in sight.
The play here is Warriors -2.0. Curry has to rain from long range after calling his shot. The warriors also have more talent, they just have had their struggles. Look for Wiggins and Wiseman to step up this game.
San Antonio Spurs at New Orleans Pelicans
These teams make for an interesting match-up and will help answer the age-old question, offense or defense?
I’m going to have to go defense in this matchup. The Spurs just showed they can still play with anyone despite a lot of star power. Thanks to their defense and pace control.
The spread opened up at the Pelicans -5.0 at home. I believe that is enough of a spread for the Spurs defense and pace control to cover. The play here is Spurs +5.0.
The Pelicans shooting guards will have a difficult time stopping veteran star Demar DeRozan who just dropped 27 points against the Raptors. This mismatch at shooting guard should be enough to carry them to the cover. Slowing down their potent offense is the only way the Spurs cover with a likely win by the Pelicans.
Brooklyn Nets at Charlotte Hornets
The line is not out for this game, but with the way the Nets have been playing the line will most likely be double digits.
The Nets win this game, it’s only a matter of how much they win by. If the line is -10.0 or less. Hammer it.
