Brandon’s Week 4 NFL DFS FanDuel Bargains

Sometimes when I am creating a lineup I would like to have a few cheap options to put in there so I can add that extra superstar that has a high upside of having a huge game.  Throughout this season that’s where I will help you out.  I’ll give you a cheap option at every position to use for the Sunday/Monday slate.  Let’s have a great season and win some money!

Quarterback: Trevor Siemian $7400
Opponent: vs Buccaneers

For the Sunday slate, I feel Siemian is the best cheap option at quarterback.  He’s going against a Tampa defense that is much better at stopping the run than the pass and has allowed all three opponents it has faced to score at least 24 points against them.  With Siemian finally looking like he’s on the same page with Demaryius Thomas, he could be in store for a big game.

Running Back: Jordan Howard $5600
Opponent: vs Lions

With starting running back Jeremy Langford expected to miss four to six weeks with an ankle injury and third-stringer Ka’Deem Carey could also miss Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury, Howard is in position to get as many carries as he can handle.  Not to mention the Bears host a Lions defense that has their own injury issues.  Howard should exceed expectations in this spot.

Wide Receiver: Cole Beasley $5200
Opponent: at 49ers

If I told you Beasley led the Cowboys in targets, receptions, and receiving yards would you believe me?  With star receiver Dez Bryant‘s status still up in the air, Beasley could be in position to play an even bigger role in the Dallas offense.  The 49ers defense at home can be tough, but Beasley should get the job done this weekend.

Tight End: Hunter Henry $4500

Opponent: vs Saints

It’s not looking like Antonio Gates will be ready to go for Sunday’s matchup with New Orleans, and if he isn’t, Henry is who you want in this spot.  The Saints defense is terrible, and Henry had a decent showing last week against the Colts (five catches 72 yards) despite losing a fumble.  Facing an even worse defense this weekend Henry could find himself in the end zone before the game is over.

Kicker: Chandler Catanzaro $4600
Opponent: vs Rams

Coming off an embarrassing loss to the Buffalo Bills last week, Arizona looks to get back on track against a Rams team that is inconsistent, to say the least.  Catanzaro should get more opportunities than usual in this divisional matchup (made seven field goals in two games vs Rams last season).

Defense: New York Jets $4400
Opponent: vs Seahawks

The Seahawks haven’t been good on offense and injuries are starting to take its toll.  Plus the whole “west coast teams struggle on the east coast” is real this year (ask Arizona).  With the exception of giving up the occasional deep pass, this defense has been solid and has the tools to clamp down on an inconsistent Seattle offense traveling across the country to what equates to them as a 10am kickoff.

That’s it for this week.  Good luck everyone!
