DFS CFL DraftKings Lineup Advice 6/13/19
Have missed everyone the last week or so, have been traveling. I’m back just in time for the first week of CFL. While there are some differences between the CFL and its American counterpart, 3 downs instead of 4, 12 men on the field instead of 11 etc. It’s still football and fun for DFS purposes, with that I give you some picks.

Quarterbacks
Bo Levi Mitchell (Calgary) $10,400 vs. Ottawa
The one hint I will give you right off the bat, is that stacking Quarterbacks, Running Backs, and Wideouts is great CFL strategy. Bo Levi Mitchell threw for almost 5600 yards last ear and 40 touchdowns. He is cheaper then some of the other options at quarterback and could be part of a nice Calgary stack.

Mike Reilly $11,500 versus Winnipeg (will be interesting to see how he transitions from Edmonton, to the domed BC Place), Jeremiah Masoli $11,200 versus Saskatchewan, Dominique Davis $7,800 @ Calgary (value)

Eric Rogers WR (Calgary) $7,900 vs. Ottawa
For CFL DFS you must roster one running back, and 2 wideouts. Aside from that there are 2 flex positions that can be any other skill player (none quarterback). Keep in mind with only 3 downs to play with, the running game is not as big a part of the CFL. With that being said I love Calgary Wide Receiver Eric Rogers here. Rogers missed 7 games last season but caught 48 passes for 624 yards and 8 touchdowns when healthy. I love him stacked with Bo Levi Mitchell as they should build on some of their chemistry from last year.

Andrew Harris RB $8,600 @ B.C., Don Jackson RB $6,400 versus Ottawa (Calgary stack), Brandon Banks WR $10,100 versus Saskatchewan (Best skill player on the board if healthy, also returns kicks)
Defenses/Special Teams
Edmonton Eskimos $4,600 vs. Montreal
In CFL DFS, the defense/special teams are important. Defensive Touchdowns, the Rouge (more on that at a later date), and Returns all accrue points as do the usual other stats, ints, fumbles etc. I typically like to pick on weak offenses, for this slate that means Montreal. The Alouettes went 5-13 and used 100 quarterbacks last season including Johnny Manziel. They also just fired there Head Coach Mike Sherman right before the start of the season. I expect Edmonton to blow them out and have a good day defensively.
