Nothing better than some early day baseball, but we’ll be taking a look at some stacks to target for just the 6:05 games on.
They will be a very popular stack for cash games, but for good reason. After the Nationals let Jeremy Guthrie go, Kyle Kendrick is probably the worst starting pitcher in the game by default. He’s started just one game this year, but it went horribly, as he gave up 6 earned runs in just 4 innings. It’s at Miller Park tonight and the Brewers have some good BVP against Kendrick( Braun 9 for 20, 2 HR & Thames 2 for 4, 1 HR) Love the Brewers 1-5 for cash and GPP.
The Stack: Braun, Thames, Villar, Perez
St. Louis Cardinals
This could be a sneaky stack here for GPP. Tom Koehler has not been good this year, he’s had five straight starts of at least 3 earned runs in a row coming into Wednesday. The Cards are a much better hitting team on the road than at home, as Gyorko, Carpenter, Pham are all hitting .300+ away from home. Marlin’s park is a pitcher’s park but the Cards should be able to get to Koehler early tonight.
The Stack: Pham, Gyorko, Wong, Grichuk
Boston Red Sox
Many new MLB DFS players might look at Chase Anderson’s 2.86 ERA and be scared away, but he’s pitching way over his head right now. He’s regressed a bit in his last two games, giving up 8 earned runs over his last two outings and he has to face the Red Sox offense that has been on fire the last week and a half. Sox have a lot of fire power in their lineup, it should be a slug fest in Miller Park tonight.
The Stack: Betts, Bogaerts, Benintendi
Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodger bats haven’t really lived up to expectations so far this season(Puig leads their team in HR with 6), but they’re starting to come into their own as of late, especially with the addition of Bellinger. Kuhl is a below average pitcher and hasn’t been good this year as he comes into this match up with a WHIP just shy of 1.70. The Dodgers kill righties with their predominately left-handed lineup of Seager, Pederson, Bellinger, Gonzalez. Call of the Night: I think Joc Pederson is due for a home run tonight off Kuhl at home.
The Stack: Bellinger, Seager, Pederson,
