Is there anything better than a little Sunday day baseball? We don’t think so!
This is by far my favorite stack today besides the obvious COL-ARI game. The Mariners have killed righties so far in 2017. Cano, Segura, Cruz, Gamel, and Haniger all have .300+ against right handers this year. Cashner has pitched surprisingly well in 2017, as he comes into the match up with a 2.95 ERA…but he has never really pitched well besides in San Diego, so I’m feeling a regression game here in SafeCo. I really like Seattle’s lineup top to bottom, it’s tough to miss all the bats especially when Haniger and Gamel have been hitting so well.
The Stack: Cano, Cruz, Gamel, Seager, Segura
Sonny Gray is an ace in the minds of most baseball fans…but over the last year and a half he has been anything but. After coming back from injury, Gray was absolutely atrocious in 2016, as he had an ERA just shy of 6.00 in 22 starts for the A’s. He came back from injury a few days ago and gave up 3 home runs to the Twins in his first 4 innings of work. The Tigers haven’t been great against Righties this year, but there are some nice cheap options on DraftKings on Detroit, as Collins will probably be batting 2nd, and Avila has been hitting well recently, this is a nice filler stack here.
The Stack: Collins, Cabrera, Avila
I’ve mentioned stacking against Glasnow before…but it’s no secret really. Glasnow gives up a ton of hits and gives up a boatload of walks too. His WHIP is still north of 2.10 and he just can’t seem to figure it out quite yet. Like the Tigers, the Brewers have a lot of cheap options to fill in with the big name bats in your lineup. The Brewers haven’t hit righties particularly well thus far, but Milwaukee will definitely be scoring runs tomorrow against the struggling rookie.
The Stack: Thames, Villar, Perez
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…Coor’s Field ruins daily fantasy…it really does. We feel obligated to throw in some guys from this game, just because we know runs are going to be scored, even with their expensive prices. Arizona has been absolutely smoking right-handed pitching this year, Goldschmidt, Lamb, Pollock, Drury, Peralta, and Tomas are all hitting .300+ against righties this year. Their offense is just really good, top to bottom, and Chatwood is nothing special, so I might try and fit Sale and an Arizona stack into cash games if I can decide on a cheap SP2.
The Stack: Lamb, Ahmed, Tomas, Goldschmidt
