DFS NBA DraftKings Lineup Advice 4/24/19
It’s hard to do this for a playoff slate, they are too small! So we are going to do something a little different. I’m going to give you some picks for the Showdown Matchup between the Rockets and Jazz. Keep in mind I don’t have a ton of experience with Showdown so we are going to learn together, here goes.

Top Plays (Captain Slot)
Donovan Mitchell (Utah) $15,000 vs. Houston
Remember, the captain slot scores 1.5x the fantasy points. I choose Donovan Mitchell because given James Harden’s recent struggles I do not think he is worth the extra money in the captain slot. I do not think you can fully fade him in your lineup and expect to win, or probably to even place, but Donovan is the move here.

Kenneth Faried (Houston) $2,800 vs. Utah

This pick is going to seem a little out there, but hear me out. It sounds like Clint Capela is not fully healthy. To what extent we don’t know? At under 3k (remember Showdown pricing is a little different), I think Faried will provide the necessary salary relief to get some combination of Harden, Mitchell, and Gobert into your lineup.

Jae Crowder $5,400, Eric Gordon $5,600, Nene $1,000 (if Capela is in worse condition than we are being lead to believe)

Clint Capela (Houston) $9,200 vs. Utah
Speaking of. I just don’t think he is at all healthy. He only scored 15.25 fantasy points the other night, and Gobert is not a great matchup for him anyway. I like a lot of guys better than Clint in this Showdown matchup and encourage a full fade.
