And I’m back. My first foray into Showdown was a complete disaster, but I am feeling more confident this time. These picks are for a great matchup between my hometown Denver Nuggets and the Portland Trailblazers. Let’s do it!

Top Plays (Captain)
Nikola Jokic (Denver) $19,800 vs. Portland
I went back and fourth here between the Joker and Lillard. I ultimate choose Joker because while he might be the highest priced, he is on fire as of late, and I’m sorry Enes Kanter cannot defend him. The Blazers really miss Nurkic here.

Meyers Leonard (Portland) $1,400 vs. Denver

Remember playoff pricing is different as is Showdown pricing. If you are going to jam in stars you need some value. I am not sure how healthy Kanter is, so I am inclined to take a flyer on either Meyers Leonard or Zach Collins here. Leonard was better fantasy wise in Game 1.

Neva Plays
Torrey Craig (Denver) $5,200 vs. Portland
You can’t really do a Neva Play on Showdown. I love Torrey Craig as a player and his presence was huge in the San Antonio series. I just don’t think he does enough statistically in this game to make him worth your while.
