DFS NBA DraftKings Showdown 5/15/19 Raptors @ Bucks
As I write this it’s the 3rd quarter of the Blazers/Warriors, and so far my lineups are “meh”. I’m going to need Dame and CJ to step up, however, I think I nailed the captain spot with Enes Kanter. If Cj and Dame can have a good 4th, I should be in good shape.
Enough about me. Let’s get to this ECF game…

Captain  | Pascal Siakam $12,600
I had a hard time trying to figure out who I wanted to put in my captain spot with the star power of these two teams. I wanted both Kawhi Leonard and the Greek Freak in my lineup, but I couldn’t afford to put either of them in the captain spot without punting way too much. I finally landed on Siakam as the best option and it’s not a bad option either.
In four games this season, Siakam has averaged 40.5 DraftKings points against the Bucks — well above his season average of 34.6.
Nothing But Net | Giannis Antetokounmpo $11,600
The Greek Freak is a must have in this game. If you are trying to decide between Kawhi Leonard and the Freak, it has to be the Freak. On a side note, I don’t feel like spelling his name every time, thus why I will just call him the Freak.
I know the Bucks have been resting for a while and could be rusty, but I think the Raptors are going to come out flat after that shot for the ages in Game 7 of the last series. There has to be some hangover effect to an emotional moment like that, especially when you have to turn around to go play on the road against the NBA’s best team. It is because of that hangover I prefer the Freak over Leonard, but the cheat code….you can have both if you build your lineup right.
Dunk | Eric Bledsoe $7,000
Bledsoe was solid in four games against the Raptors this season, averaging 31 DK points in those games — including a 40 DK point effort in their last meeting of the season. He may not have the upside you look for in a Showdown lineup, but his price makes it easier to fit Leonard and the Freak.

Half-Court Shot | George Hill $3,400
It has already been announced the Malcolm Brogdon will continue to come off the bench, leaving Hill in the starting lineup…at least for Game 1. I would expect Brogdon to play more minutes then he did in the last series, but Hill’s playoff experience is invaluable at this point in the playoffs. In the last three games of the Boston series, Hill was averaging over 1 DK point per minute, at $3,400, that’s a steal.
Blocked Shot | Kyle Lowry $7,400
Lowry has not reached value on his salary since Game 3…of the Orlando series. Not to mention, in two of his three games against the Bucks this season he only scored 17 DK points. Last I checked, that’s not good.
