DFS NBA FanDuel/DraftKings Lineup Advice 12/7/18

DFS NBA FanDuel Lineup 12/7/18

I’m back again today after a pretty good Wednesday night. We have another large slate Friday and should have no problems finding some good value to fit in some of the studs on tonight’s slate. There is one game in particular that I want to try to get as much exposure to as I can and that’s the Warriors/Bucks game with a 240 over/under.

If you haven’t already signed up for our DFSmas Nutcracker Contest for Christmas Day, follow this link to enter for a chance to win up to $900, GoingFor2.com/Nutcracker. The contest will be held on DraftKings.

Sorry, the analysis is so short today, I was short on time to write. Now let’s get to tonight’s slate…

NBA DFS Legend

Nothing But NetMy top plays of the night at his position.
DunkA Dunk is a second or third tier player with the highest upside.
Half-Court ShotOtherwise known as a “punt play.” A Low-priced, high-upside player.
Blocked Shot A player I’ll be avoiding. Otherwise known as “Fading.”

**Main Slate

Point Guard

Nothing But Net | Stephen Curry $9,900 @ MIL

This one is almost too easy and it’s a bit of a copout by going Curry, but I couldn’t justify going with anyone else as the top play at PG. Curry is sub-10K and is playing in the highest over/under on the slate.

Dunk | Eric Bledsoe $7,700 vs. GS

From the same game, I think Bledsoe has a chance to be the highest points per dollar player at the PG spot tonight. This will be a fast-paced game, which suits Bledsoe’s style and Curry is not a good defender. At $7,700, Bledsoe offers some relatively cheap exposure to this game.

Half-Court Shot | Collin Sexton $4,900 vs. SAC

There isn’t a lot of sub-5k players I like at the PG spot tonight, but Sexton has a good matchup against the Kings who give up 46.9 Fanduel points per game — the sixth most in the league.

Blocked Shot | Kyle Lowry $7,800 @ BKN

Priced a $100 more than Bledsoe makes Lowry a fade for me. I’d much rather save the $100 to get exposure to the Warriors/Bucks game.

Honorable Mentions: Mike Conley $9,200, Lonzo Ball $6,700

Shooting Guard

Nothing But Net | DeMar DeRozan $8,600 vs. LAL

DeRozan has been money in the bank vs. the Lakers this year, having already dropped two 60-plus point games and a 48 pointer Wednesday night.

Dunk | Khris Middleton $7,400 vs. GS

Middleton sat out the last game for unknown reasons, but all signs point to him playing in this game, and much like Bledsoe, he offers some fairly cheap exposure to this game. He had a 39.6 point game vs. the Warriors earlier this season.

Half-Court Shot | Josh Hart $3,600 @ SAS

With Brandon Ingram expected to miss a few games, Hart should see an increase in minutes. When Ingram went down in the last game, it was Hart that drew the start in the second half and could very well draw that assignment again. I think there is another player that benefits more, but we will talk about him later, however, at $3,600 Hart makes for a great punt play.

Blocked Shot | Jrue Holiday $9,400 vs. MEM

$9,400 is a lot to pay for the No. 2 option on his team, especially vs. the slow-paced, defensive-minded Grizzlies. If Anthony Davis were to miss this game, Holiday’s situation changes and he becomes a great play.

Honorable Mentions: Terrence Ross $5,500

Small Forward

Nothing But Net | Giannis Antetokounmpo $12,200 vs. GS

If you’re going to play anyone over 12k on this slate today, play the Greek Freak. He put up 50 in a blowout victory earlier this season. I don’t expect this game to become a blowout and that should lead to more minutes and production.

Dunk | None

There are just no mid-range guys I like, and the ones I do are out or doubtful to play.

Half-Court Shot | Justise Winslow $4,900 @ PHO

The high-paced nature of the Suns should be enough for Winslow to be viable in this game. He has seen over 30 minutes in each of his last two games, and should he get that vs. the Suns, he could have a monster fantasy game.

Blocked Shot | Nikola Mirotic $7,600 vs. MEM

Coming back from an illness and playing a defensive-minded slow-paced team doesn’t excite me.

Honorable Mentions: Kevin Durant $10,600

Power Forward

Nothing But Net | Blake Griffin $9,000 vs. PHI

The Sixers give up the fourth-most fantasy points per game to power forwards, as they give up 53 FanDuel points on average for the year.

Dunk | Kyle Kuzma $7,100 @ SAS

I mentioned earlier there was another player that benefits the most from Brandon Ingram being out, and Kuzma is it. You have to look no further than the game on Wednesday vs. these same Spurs to see what he can do when given the shot.

Half-Court Shot | JaMychal Green $5,200 @ NO

Blocked Shot | Anthony Davis $12,900 vs. MEM

Honorable Mentions: Aaron Gordon $7,600

Center

Nothing But Net | Joel Embiid $10,700 @ DET

Andre Drummond Day. Embiid always gets up for this game.

With Embiid out, Mike Muscla becomes a top value play, but if you’re going to pay up at center I’d go with Nikola Jokic.

Dunk | Steven Adams $7,700 @ CHI

Only the Nets and Suns are worse at defending the center position.

Half-Court Shot | Jonas Valanciunas $5,100 @ BKN

Only the Suns are worse at defending the center position.

Blocked Shot | Andre Drummond $8,800 vs PHI

Drummond seems to let Embiid get into his head more often than not, and Drum was actually ejected from the last game because of it.

Honorable Mentions: Nikola Jokic $9,500
