DFS NBA Fanduel GPP Lineup 4/18/16

Frist off, as I write this the Blazers/Clippers game just tipped off, so I don’t know how my lineup I posted yesterday will do. Secondly, I want to apologize for a mistake on my part in yesterday lineups. I originally had Marvin Williams in my lineup, but after further research decided to use Marcus Morris. At the time I decided to make the switch, I had already put the names for each position in my article, but I forgot to change Marvin Williams’ name to Marcus Morris. If you read the narrative under Marvin Williams’ name, you would see that it was written for Marcus Morris. Ugh!

To make matters worse, I didn’t change my lineup. It too still has Marvin Williams. It may not end up being what killed the lineup, but Williams had 9 FD points and Morris had 30. That stings!

My cash game lineup can be found at FantasyPros.com today (I’d link you straight to the article, but as I write this, it hasn’t been published yet). Here is one of my GPP lineups…

PG – Russell Westbrook (OKC) vs DAL $10,500

I don’t expect another blowout like we saw in Game 1, and game in which Westbrook only played only 29 minutes…and still had 43 Fanduel points. If he gets his normal 35-plus, he will easily put up 55-plus tonight.

PG – Raymond Felton (DAL) @ OKC $4,700

J.J. Barea has already been ruled out for this game after tweaking his groin, meaning Felton will move into the starting lineup. He will log big minutes and had the ball in his hands a lot, meaning his usage rate will go up considerably. Dallas need to show that they belong on the same court as the Thunder after their dismal performance in Game 1. Felton will be a big part of their gameplan.

SG – Klay Thompson (GS) vs HOU $7,200

With Stephen Curry potentially being out, or at minimum limited, the Warriors will look to Thompson to pick up the scoring in Game 2. With James Harden‘s bullfighter defense (gets out-of-the-way) Thompson should have no trouble getting 35-plus FD points.

SG – DeMar DeRozan (TOR) vs IND $7,900

This game screams bounce back for both DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, and I wish I could fit them both in this lineup, but since I can’t, I’m going with the better matchup. DeDe will be primarily defended by Monta Ellis, who is not near as good a defender as George Hill. He will see some of Paul George too, with whom he struggled against on Saturday, but DeRozan is a great scorer and will find a way to have a better Game 2.

SF – Paul George (IND) @ TOR $9,000

Speaking of Paul George, after Saturday’s performance it’ll be hard to leave him off any of my lineups. He looked like the Paul George we came to know pre-injury, and I don’t think the Raptors will be able to stop him all series.

SF – Trevor Ariza (HOU) @ GS $6,100

Ariza is very hit or miss, which is why I only will have him in GPP lineups. I expect Game 2 to be a much closer contest, especially if Stephen Curry misses the game. Even is the debacle that was Game 1, Ariza still had 26 fanduel points. He should be better tonight.

PF – Serge Ibaka (OKC) vs DAL $5,900

I had him in my cash game lineup on Saturday, and he paid off handsomely. The Mavericks have been bad defending the power forward position all year and will continue to struggle for as long as Dirk Nowitzki plays for them.

PF – Patrick Patterson (TOR) vs IND $3,800

He wasn’t amazing in Game 1, but he did hit five times value (19 FD points) and I expect something similar tonight from him. Luis Scola may be the “official” starter, but Patterson gets more minutes and has the higher upside.

C – Enes Kanter (OKC) vs DAL $4,600

I love this guy. He has 31 FD points in 23 minutes in Game 1, and he gets all the junk time minutes. At $4,600, he will be in 90 percent of my lineups Monday night.
