DFS NBA FanDuel Lineup Advice & Spreadsheet 12/17/16

DFS NBA FanDuel Lineup 12/17/16As I write this, the Utah Jazz and Dallas Mavericks have just tipped off, but the sheet from yesterday did fairly well. It had a few misses as expected, but overall it did pretty well. Today’s version of the Beta spreadsheet has a few updates that you should notice right away. The first of which is the “Hot” column. The Hot column will bring attention to players that, over their last five games, are exceeding their value based on their current FanDuel price tag.

Be warned, I’m designing the sheet to have as few adjustments as possible from my end, so a player having one huge game could greatly affect his five-game average and may show up on the Hot List. Also note, the sheet looks at a player’s last five games, not the last five games his team played. What does this mean? It means a player that has been out with an injury may show up on the hot list if he was “hot” before getting injured.

I will do my best to make the correct adjustments to prevent this from happening, but in the end, I’m only one person and I have a full-time “real” job, so it won’t be perfect. As always, you will still need to do some research in addition to the sheet, but it will point you in the right direction.

The second thing that you will notice that is new from the last edition is the “How to Read” tab that shows up after the center tab. This will break down how the grade for each player is achieved and what each column means. It also explains a metric I designed called CvP or Cost vs Production.

Hope you like all the changes, there is still more to come. Here is tonight’s sheet…
