DFS NBA FanDuel Lineup Advice Sunday 11/6/16

Things went pretty well for on Saturday and you if you checked out my column they probably went well you for you too. I know, today is a day for NFL, so why am I talking NBA? But the NBA has given us a decent sized slate for a Sunday during the NFL season, so I’ll be running some NBA lines in addition to my NFL ones.

Tonight’s article will just be some quick hitters. I don’t have time for a full write-up. Let’s get started shall we?

NBA DFS Legend

Nothing But NetMy top plays of the night at his position.
DunkA Dunk is a second or third tier player with the highest upside.
Half-Court ShotOtherwise known as a “punt play.” A Low-priced, high-upside player.
Blocked Shot A player I’ll be avoiding. Otherwise known as “Fading.”

**Main Slate Only

Point Guard

Nothing But Net | Isaiah Thomas @ DEN $8,100

NBA FanDuel Lineup Sunday 11/6/16I was really tempted to put Eric Bledsoe in this spot because he has a great matchup with the Lakers, but Bledsoe is one of those players that seems to throw up duds against teams he should dominate, so I’m fading him tonight. Thomas, on the other hand, has been very consistent so far this season and has yet to score fewer than 33 FanDuel points in any game this year. He gets a good matchup against a short-handed Denver team on the back half of a back to back. Sign me up.

Dunk | D’Angelo Russell vs PHO $6,100

This will most likely be the game to stack on a four-game slate. Not only will it be a high-scoring affair, but the prices of the players on both sides of the ball are low enough to roster a few of them. Russell has been up and down so far this season but he will be good in this one on what should be a very high-paced game.

Half-Court Shot | J.J. Barea vs MIL $5,200

Deron Williams is “highly doubtful” to play on Sunday which should move Barea back into the starting lineup. He is technically their sixth man, but injuries and rest days have put him in the starting lineup more often than not. At 5.2K he needs 25 FanDuel points to hit value, something he has done every game this season except for one — a slow-paced game at Utah Jazz. Fire him up.

Blocked Shot | Emmanuel Mudiay @ BOS $5,900

He didn’t look so great last night putting up only 11.9 Fanduel points in 24 minutes and now he gets to face off against a team that defends both guard positions well.

Shooting Guard

Nothing But Net | Giannis Antetokounmpo @ DAL $9,900

NBA FanDuel Lineup Sunday 11/6/16On this slate everyone will own him, therefore, in cash games, you must as well. He is a decent fade candidate in your GPP’s in hopes that he struggles with the back to back, but I for one will NOT be fading him.

Dunk | Devin Booker @ LAL $5,900

In my last column, I predicted Booker would have his breakout game of the season against my Pels — and boy was I right! How does a career high 38 points sound on his way to  41.3 FanDuel night? He gets an equally good matchup tonight against the Lakers.

Half-Court Shot | Lou Williams vs PHO $4,700

Lou Will is one of those players that when he is hot, he is really hot, and right now he is hot. Two straight games with over 30 FanDuel points and now he gets a good matchup with the high-paced Suns. Yes, please!

Blocked Shot | None

Small Forward

Nothing But Net | T.J. Warren @ LAL $6,300

NBA FanDuel Lineup Sunday 11/6/16Man, how good has this guy been this year? I could make the argument that this is quickly becoming his team and not Eric Bledsoe’s. I feel I’m beating a dead horse, but this game will be high-paced and Warren has been hot.

Dunk | Harrison Barnes vs MIL $5,100

I pointed out in my last column that Barnes is much better at home and he didn’t disappoint again putting up 27 FanDuel points. The Bucks are a little tougher matchup than were the Blazers, but Dallas is short on playmakers with their injuries, he will be needed to score and he will do just that.

Half-Court Shot | Jaylen Brown vs DEN $3,800

This may be my favorite play of the night and he will find his way into a lot of my lineups. Jae Crowder is going to miss a few more games and Brown filled in better than anyone could have expected to put up 35 FanDuel points at the minimum salary. He isn’t much higher than minimum tonight at 3.8K.

Blocked Shot | Danilo Gallinari @ BOS $6,500

He hasn’t hit value all year and until he does I will fade.

Power Forward

Nothing But Net | Jabari Parker @ DAL $6,000

NBA FanDuel Lineup Sunday 11/6/16The Mavericks have historically been awful defending the power forward position, and while their numbers are more favorable this year, I’m not buying it. Dirk Nowitzki hasn’t suddenly learned how to play defense. Parker is coming off back to back 39 FanDuel point games and could easily hit that number again.

Dunk | Larry Nance Jr. $4,100

Beating that dead horse again…

Half-Court Shot | Patrick Patterson vs SAC $3,800

Don’t really love this play but I don’t hate it either.

Blocked Shot | None

Center

Nothing But Net | DeMarcus Cousins @ TOR $9,700

NBA FanDuel Lineup Sunday 11/6/16He is here by default. There is literally no one else I like at center until we get to Tyson Chandler.

Dunk | None

Half-Court Shot | Tyson Chandler @ LAL $4,700

Horse has been beaten enough…

Blocked Shot | Jonas Valanciunas vs SAC $6,100

Hasn’t hit value since the first game of the season. No thanks
