DFS NBA FanDuel Lineup 12/19/17Last night was another good night for the spreadsheet. You can see from the lineup I built how well it did. That was my cash game lineup and it also min-cashed in that GPP. Justin Holiday was one of the top values the sheet pointed out, and while he did well, it could have been so much better. At the half, he had 35 Fanduel points — he finished with 34. What. The. Hell.

Kent Bazemore, Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope were some of the other value guys the sheet pointed out. Of course, it wasn’t without its misses as well. Donovan Mithcell and James Harden were ranked high, and neither hit value.

Tonight we have a crappy three-game slate, and normally I wouldn’t even bother doing a sheet, but I have added a few things to it and wanted to send it out to see if I need to make any changes or if anyone can find in errors. One set of eyes might miss a mistake, but 1,500 eyes likely won’t. What I added…

  1. There is a “Back to Back” indicator now to let you know when a player is on the second game of a back to back. Please note, this only means the team is on a back to back. It’s possible the player rested the night before, but he will still get the back to back tag.
  2. I also added the player’s team to all the positions tabs now. Previously only the “ALL” tab would show you the player’s team. I know this sounds like a small change, but because of the way the sheet is set up, it was a pain in the ass to make it work. The teams weren’t being assigned to the right players. It seems to be fine now.
  3. Updated the “how to read” tab. A minor update.
  4. Coming soon, I will include “projected total points” into the overall algorithm.
