I apologize that there were no spreadsheet or advice columns over the weekend, it was just one of those perfect storm types weekends that kept me from writing. In fact, I’m short on time tonight and will be unable to put out a full-blown advice column. Before I link the sheet, I just wanted to mention a few things…
- We will be releasing our Super Bowl preview article soon. It was a pretty massive undertaking, so I hope everyone gets a chance to check it out. A total of 11 writers each worked on a piece of it, myself included. Look for it to come out, at the latest, Thursday or Friday. Hopefully sooner.
- I don’t want to count my chickens before they hatch, but we may soon be coming to the App Store in iOS. I’m still working on the logistics, but I’m hoping it’s something  I can pull off.
- Today marks to death (hopefully temporarily) of the DaftKings NBA spreadsheet. Because I don’t play DraftKings much, data collection has been difficult and the spreadsheet just hasn’t been as successful as the FanDuel sheet. It is very time-consuming putting out both sheets, while also trying to tweak the DK sheet to have a higher “hit rate” like the FanDuel one has. So for that reason, I’m going to kill it for now.
- And finally, there is a new feature on the FanDuel spreadsheet that is releasing with this version. There is now a “matchup rating”. It is pretty simple and straightforward, so I’m sure you will have no trouble figuring it out. Let me know what you think of it…
