Point Guard Top Value Play –

Ishmael Smith $6,100- Yes I know, He’s not much of a value if he is over 6,000. Yes he  is. I look at value if he can exceed his salary. Today he has a match up vs. the Atlanta Hawks. While Atlanta is ranked 22nd vs. PG people have failed to realize how bad this team has fallen apart without their glue man Carroll last year. Smith has taken the throne in Philadelphia and he hasn’t disappointed one bit. Scoring 40 points on 3 of his last 6 and meeting 5 x values in 4-6 while starting for the 76ers.  Sign me up for 5x value tomorrow and possibly 6 xs.

Shooting Guard Top Value Play –

$5,600- Houston we have a problem and it coming to a “Hood” near you! See what I did there? On the real though,we all know Rodney Hood has been on fire lately. His usage rate has gone through the roof. To give you an idea of how high that is, Jimmy Butler usage rate is 24.1 Percent.  Since Derrick Favors and Alex Burks went out with injuries. Hood has stepped in to be the 2nd primary scorer for the Jazz. He struggled last night, but in a match up vs. the Almighty James Harden . I see him excelling his value. He just recently played the Houston Rockets and scorched them for 34.7 FanDuel points.

Small Forward Top Value Play-

Nikola Mirotic $4,800- I’m not proud of this one. There’s not much value or SF to pick from on today slate. If you look closely, there’s only 4 real SF to pick from. Hayward, Turner, Crowder. The rest is a crapshoot. I feel like the one, he the one I’ll get the most value out of. He has been playing high 20 minute and been meeting value. While Derrick Rose is back. I still believe he will get his shots up. Vs. a Boston team that very high pace. This should be a shootout. They will be trading bucket back and forth.  I like Mirotic for the best value at Small forward.

Power Forward Top Value Play- 

Larry Nance Jr. $4,300– Remember the guy in the NBA Draft who got drafted by the Lakers and then realized you made fun of Kobe Bryan on Twitter? Yep it was the son of Larry Nance Sr. While he lived in the shadow of his dad name. He is making a name for himself on the Lakers right now. You can go many ways at power forward tonight. I want to choose the safest one though. I like booby portis ,Taj Gibson and Nance Jr. . Only elite forwards on this slate are Paul Millsap and Pau Gasol. So after that it’s a big drop off too Nerlen Noel.  Larry Nance Jr.has met value in the last 7 games. While this run he has seen an uptick of minutes. Even pushing rookie and first round pick Julius Randle to the bench. I like him tomorrow as they face Sacramento Kings. The Kings will more than likely be without Casspi .One thing people don’t realize about the Kings they’re not a great rebounding team. Bottom five in rebounds in the league. I love this game pace.  As the Kings have the highest pace of the day. Lakers are by far the worst defensive team in the league and the Sacramento Kings aren’t that far off. The O/U for this game hasn’t been released yet. I’m guessing it will be over 210-215 total point. Target Nance with confident.

Center Top Value Play-

Jeff Whithey $4,700- Ride it til the wheel falls off!! Sound familiar? Yes Whithey has been that guy I have been riding for the past two weeks. Ever since Derrick favors got hurt. Whithey has started the last 7 games. Let’s see what he has done. Nothing short of amazing I tell you.

Wow. Just beautiful, I’m a keep riding that bandwagon. Keep in mind Derrick Favor is out with back spasm. As he didn’t travel with the team on this road trip. Tomorrow he faces Houston as we all know with Hood. They just recently faced each other. Whithey scored 32.2 points vs. Howard and the Rockets.
