Moriah Jefferson (SA) vs CON $5,300

Jefferson had been dealing with some knee issues at the beginning of the season and missed the first three games and her minutes were somewhat monitored.  In May she averaged 24.3 mpg, 10 ppg, 2 stl, and 3.6 apg, while currently in June she is averaging 29.5 mpg, 12.8 ppg, 2 stl, and 5 apg.  With Monique Currie being shipped to Phoenix I think SA will rely more on Jefferson and the trend of her playing 30+ minutes will continue (L2 games 34 mpg).  When Jefferson has received 30 or more minutes per game she has met or exceeded value at her current $5,300 salary five out of six games this season.

Brittney Sykes (ATL) @ DAL $4,900

The rookie Brittney Sykes has been on a tear as of late, averaging 31.6 mpg, 16.6 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 2 apg, 1.6 bpg, and 1 spg over her last 3 games.  In her last two games she has been used as a starter and has seen at least 33 mpg.  If Sykes continues to start, she should be considered a great mid-tier value since she has similar minutes and ceiling compared to her Dream counterparts: Tiffany Hayes & Layshia Clarendon, but costs up to $1,300 less.

Alex Montgomery (SA) vs CON $3,100

Montgomery got the start last game against CHI and she played 30 minutes for 12 pts, 10 reb, 3 ast, and 1 stl for 30.5 FD pts.  Now we can’t expect Montgomery to double-double again, but it wouldn’t be crazy to speculate Montgomery starts again and sees at least 25+ minutes.  In five games this year where Alex has seen at least 25+ minutes per game she has averaged 22.84 FD pts.  At near minimum salary Alex could be a huge value if she gets the start again and could put up 6X-7X.

Jonquel Jones (CON) @ SA $8,300

Jonquel Jones has been an absolute beast this year and has doubled-doubled 9 times.  The Connecticut Sun face off against SA who are defensively below average.  JJ should have no problem operating down low and hopefully she will be registering her 10th double-double of the season.  The only thing that gives me pause about JJ is the fact that she has seen less than 30 mpg in her last three outings and is now $8,300.  Look for JJ to put up 35-45 FD pts and is viable in all formats.

Alyssa Thomas (CON) @ SA $7,400

Since Morgan Tuck and Lynetta Kizer went down, Alyssa Thomas has been a beast in her last eleven games averaging 31.45 mpg, 15.9 ppg, 6 rpg, 5.6 apg, and 1.5 stl for 33.12 FD pts per game.  Tuck is still out indefinitely and Kizer has returned but she has only played a combined 17 minutes over the last three games.  It’s safe to say AT is the Sun’s 2nd best forward option and is absolutely deadly in transition muscling her way passed defenders with the ability to finish at the rim drawing fouls (5.1 FTA per game).  AT is a nice cash and GPP option.

Isabelle Harrison (SA) vs CON $4,900

Isabelle Harrison this season has demonstrated the ability to pop off and fill the stat sheet.  The thing that holds her back the most is foul trouble.  If Harrison is able to keep her paws to herself, she has shown a nice 40+ FD pt ceiling.  Against CON’s tough interior (JJ & AT), Isabelle managed to register 11 pts, 6 reb, 1blk, and 2 stl in their one game so far this year.  In her last three games she has averaged 31.3 mpg and is averaging 31 FD pts.  While the SA forward has huge upside she also can put up fantasy pts in the teens, so look at Isabelle as a mid-tier GPP option.

Camille Little PHO vs WAS $4,400

At the moment there are no ultra-low cost options at forward, but the closer we get to lock that might change with some upcoming news.  So for now at $4,400 Camille Little has been a solid play as of late.  In her last five games she is averaging 25.8 mpg, 11 ppg, 4.2 reb, and 1.2 stl for 20.92 FD pts per game.  Defensively the Washington Mystics are a pretty tough team but minutes equal money and at this price range it’s hard to find someone with this kind of consistency.
