Fanduel MLB Lineup Advice 5/26

We had a successful Memorial Day, check out my Twitter pictures for cashing proof! Let’s keep it rolling into Tuesday which happens to be ace day. As always, pitchers are of paramount importance in your cash game lineups.

Pitchers

Clayton Kershaw, LAD – $11,000 DFS players rejoice! Finally Kershaw isn’t matched up with MadBum, so he looks to be the top pitching play of the day going up against the weak Braves. Atlanta is actually a team that strikes out very little (281 as a team, 2nd fewest in the majors), but they haven’t faced the reigning MVP and NL Cy Young winner yet. The Dodgers southpaw hasn’t been his usual self so far this season, but he is a slam dunk pick on Tuesday and should get a ton of K’s and hopefully the win.

Jacob deGrom, NYM – $9,700 The young Mets phenom has a great matchup on Tuesday in spacious Citi Field going up against the Phillies, who are the second to last worse offensive team in the league. Even with veterans Chase Utley and Ryan Howard heating up, the Philadelphia lineup isn’t that intimidating. deGrom has been lights out at home this season, posting a 5-1 record with a sparkling 1.13 ERA and opponents are only hitting .238 against him. deGrom is personally my favorite play of the night, and you won’t be disappointed if you start him!

Other options: Matt Shoemaker (LAA), Jaime Garcia (STL), David Price (DET)

Edwin Encarnacion, 1B (TOR) – $4,400 Though his average leaves something to be desired, power has not eluded EE thus far in 2015 and he has a stellar matchup on Tuesday against unimpressive lefty John Danks. Though 11 of his 12 home runs have come against righties, Encarnacion is hitting for a better average against lefties and should have ample opportunities for big DFS stats today. Get him in your lineups!

Neil Walker, 2B (PIT) – $2,700 If you’re looking to save some salary because of your ace, look no further than Neil Walker of the Pirates. He is going up against a recent call-up that I have never heard of (Jose Urena), and is hitting better from the left side of the plate this season (2 HR, .271 BA, .406 SLG). There’s a lot to like here, and Walker will probably be hitting in the middle of that Pirates lineup behind McCutchen and Marte.

Other options: Alex Rodriguez – 3B (NYY), Jose Reyes – SS (TOR), Charlie Blackmon – OF (COL), Anthony Gose – OF (DET)
