This Thursday night we get a heated division rivalry, as the under achieving 2-4 Seattle Seahawks, come into town to play the 2-4 San Francisco 49ers.

Fantasy Football:TNF Sit/Start Week 7

Seattle Seahawks 2-4

The Seahawks season has gotten off to a disappointing start. Everyone expected them to be much better than 2-4, the offense has gotten off to a bad start and the Legion Of Boom may be a thing of the past. Regardless, this offense has certain guys that you have to start and just can’t afford to sit. Marshawn Lynch, Russell Wilson and Jimmy Graham, should all be starting every week. It’s just too risky to sit them.

Start

Doug Baldwin-WR-

This is a good matchup for the WRs, as the 49ers allow the 5th most fantasy points to WRs. Being that Baldwin is the Possession receiver for the Seahawks, he is the only candidate that consistently scores enough fantasy points to help your team.

SIT

All other Seahawks WRs

There just isn’t enough targets for more than Jimmy Graham and Doug Baldwin to Make an Impact in this game.

San Francisco 49ers

This season has gotten off to a bad start for the 49ers. However, they have looked a little better on offense over the past 2 weeks. Due to how unsteady this offense has looked, they do not have an every week starter.

START

Carlos Hyde-RB

There is a reason to be concerned about his injury, the 49ers say they believe he will be able to play, but, it is a short week and we haven’t seen him at practice, so there is always a chance he can’t go.

If he does go I don’t have him as a start, because I love his matchup. I feel he is a good start because the 49ers aren’t going to have too much success through the air and will have to feed him the ball. He will have a good opportunity and should accumulate points through volume.

Vernon Davis-TE

I’m not feeling very confident in Vernon Davis. However, if you happen to be desperate at TE this week, he could help you. It’s no secret that the way you attack this Seahawks defense through the Air is with the TE. If the 49ers want to have any success in the passing game, they will have to find a way to get Vernon Davis involved.

SIT

Colin Kaepernick-QB

I know over the last couple of weeks he has looked more like an NFL QB and less like a future CFL player. This week, however, i’m expecting bad Kaepernick to show up.

I understand the Seahawks secondary has had its struggles, but, this is a good opportunity for them to get back on track. Coming into this game the Seahawks have allowed the 10th least fantasy points to QBs this season.

Anquan Boldin–WR

If there is a WR on this team that I think has a chance to prove me wrong, it is Anquan Boldin. The Reality is the 49ers don’t have enough weapons. The Seahawks should easily be able to take him out of games.

Torrey Smith-WR

Torrey Smith is a one trick pony, he can only run the deep routes. It is true, a smart GM could make use of his talents, by hand picking his matchups and starts. However, no smart GM would start him into this matchup. The Seahawks have far too much talent and will take those deep opportunities away.
