Fantasy Football: Top Waiver Wire Adds for Week 10

Quarterbacks

Josh McCown (NYJ) 34%

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 10 Josh McCownAt this point in the season, there aren’t many QBs worth adding, but McCown continues to put up backend QB1 type numbers and he gets a Bucs team that has struggled defensively — especially in the secondary.

Running Backs

Matt Forte (NYJ) 42%

Sticking with a “current Jet former Bear” theme like McCown, Forte had a monster game in Week 9 rushing for 77 yards and two touchdowns. The Jets seemed to commit 100 percent to the run in Week 9, with all three running backs getting touches on the first drive of the game. If that trend continues, Forte can be a huge addition down the stretch.

Danny Woodhead (BAL) 27%

The Ravens are on a bye in Week 10, but why not get a jump on the competition by adding him this week when no one is thinking about him? Coming off the bye he has the Packers and Texans, two pretty good matchups for the pass-catching running back.

Wide Receivers

Marqise Lee (JAX) 37%

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 10 Marqise LeeLee must have heard all the hype around fellow wide receiver Dede Westbrook and his imminent return and decided to have his best game of the season. He had 8 receptions, 75 yards and one touchdown on 12 targets. How the Jags work in Westbrook in the gameplan, and how that affects Lee is yet to be determined, but Lee is worth an add.

Robert Woods (LAR) 33%

Woods has really stepped up over that last few weeks and was already viable in PPR leagues, but with his two touchdowns in Week 9 he is on the map for standard leagues too. He gets a plus matchup with the Texans in Week 10 that just got torched by T.Y. Hilton and Jacoby Brissett.

Dede Westbrook (JAX) 28%

Westbrook is a bit of a wildcard and maybe a lottery ticket for some desperate owners, but as the leading receiver in the preseason he is worth an add in case he picks up where he left off.

Martavis Bryant (PIT) 44%

Ugh, I know. He has been terrible. But, if you’re desperate, you could do worse. Maybe, just maybe, he learned his lesson and will come out a man possessed. Doubtful, but if you’re desperate…

Zay Jones (BUF) 9%

Zay Jones had his best game of the season by far with 53 yards and a touchdown in Week 9. Kelvin Benjamin should be ready to go for Week 10, and will likely draw the No. 1 CBs from here on out, leaving Jones matched up with the No. 2. He gets a matchup with the much-improved Saints defense in Week 10, but not a Saints defense to be scared of.

Corey Davis (TEN) 45%

Davis didn’t have a huge game in Week 9, but he came out of it healthy and that was more important. He had 5 targets in his return from his five-game absence and despite not doing a ton with those targets, it was encouraging to see him on the field.

Tight Ends

Tyler Kroft (CIN) 40%

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 10 Tyler KroftWith Travis Kelce and Zach Ertz both on a bye in Week 10, there are a few decent options at tight end, the best of them being Tyler Kroft. He has had at least four receptions or at least 50 yards in six straight games and has three TDs in that span. He gets a matchup with the Titans in Week 10 and will make for a good streaming option.

George Kittle (SF) 13%

Kittle is a deep league add only, but he makes the list strictly based on his matchup with the New York Giants as they are by far the worst team defending the tight end. They allowed a touchdown to the Rams Tyler Higbee and a 44 yards reception to Gerald Everett in Week 9, two of the least targeted tight ends in the NFL. In fact, the Giants have given up a touchdown to a tight end in every game this year. Let me repeat that, the Giants have given up a touchdown to a tight end in every game this year.

Defense

Chicago Bears vs GB

The Bears defense hasn’t been as bad as people thought they would be coming into the season and they will get the inexperienced QB Brett Hundley, who should be good for at least two interceptions.
