Fantasy Football Week 11 Streamers: QB, TE, Team Defense

Before the unveil of Week 11’s streamers, here’s the accounting of Week 10 (Yahoo! scoring, full-point PPR, four points per passing touchdown).

Quarterback: Sam Darnold-21.70 points
Tight End: Mike Gesicki-3.8 points
Team Defense: Baltimore Ravens-24 points

Here are your quarterback, tight end and team defense streamers for Week 11. Four teams are on a bye (Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, Tennessee Titans, New York Giants).

Quarterback: Derek Carr, Oakland Raiders vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Carr had a tough matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 10, and delivered solid but hardly outstanding numbers (218 passing yards, one touchdown). That ended his streak of games with over 280 yards and multiple touchdowns at three, but Week 11 provides an opportunity to start another similar streak.

Due in part to how much their allowing on the ground to the position, the Cincinnati Bengals are allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season. They are also allowing a league-worst 9.0 yards per pass attempt too though, so opposing passers have not needed volume through the air.

Carr has had more than 35 pass attempts in a game just once all season, with 28, 30 and 31 attempts during his aforementioned streak with 280-plus and multiple touchdowns through the air. So he has not needed volume to produce, and even if the Raiders are in control on Sunday Carr is in line for a good day.

Others To Consider: Sam Darnold, New York Jets at Washington Redskins; Kyle Allen, Carolina Panthers vs. Atlanta Falcons; Nick Foles, Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts; Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (Thursday night); Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers vs. Arizona Cardinals (check availability)

Tight End: Noah Fant, Denver Broncos at Minnesota Vikings

Over two games heading into a Week 10 bye Fant totaled eight receptions on 12 targets, highlighted by a 75-yard catch and run for a touchdown against the Cleveland Browns in Week 9. Those two games of course coincided with the Broncos trading Emmanuel Sanders, so the rookie out of Iowa is set for a prominent role down the stretch.

The Minnesota Vikings are the only team in the league who has yet to allow a tight end touchdown this season, which helps put them in the top half of the league against tight ends. But a closer look shows they are allowing the second-most targets (9.5 per game) and the third-most total catches (64; 6.4 per game) to the position.

Passing the ball is a profitable path against the Vikings, and Fant is sure to be a prominent target for whoever is under center for Denver on Sunday (Brandon Allen or Drew Lock). Don’t expect a touchdown, but the prospect of an average stat line against Minnesota (six catches for 57-58 yards) is plenty good enough to make Fant the top tight end streamer for Week 11.

Others To Consider: Jared Cook, New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (check availability), Tyler Eifert, Cincinnati Bengals at Oakland Raiders; Gerald Everett, Los Angeles Rams vs. Chicago Bears (Sunday night, check availability); Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars; Kyle Rudolph, Minnesota Vikings vs. Denver Broncos; O.J. Howard, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New Orleans Saints

Team Defense: Oakland Raiders vs. Cincinnati Bengals

The Raiders’ defense is coming off a good fantasy outing in Week 10, with five sacks of Phillip Rivers and three interceptions (one returned for a touchdown). They have 10 sacks over their last three games, with multiple sacks in four of their last five, and this unit is lined up to succeed in Week 11.

The Cincinnati Bengals turned to rookie quarterback Ryan Finley in Week 10 against the Baltimore Ravens, and scored just 13 points with three giveaways (two fumbles, both cashed in for touchdowns) and two sacks allowed. Overall five of nine defenses have posted at least 11 fantasy points (Yahoo! scoring) against Cincinnati this season. They’ve allowed multiple sacks eight times, while scoring 20 or more points just twice.

It’s not a particularly good week for defense streamers, but it’s always worthwhile to target matchups. The Oakland defense, a positive trend meets a rookie quarterback in his first road start to put them atop the heap for Week 11.
