Alright, fantasy football lovers, it’s time for my latest GF2 buy low, sell high installment! Week 4 was a very interesting one, with a lot of big name players underachieving and some lower tier guys blowing it up for our fantasy squads. From Devonta Freeman having another monster game to Arian Foster’s lackluster 2015 debut, we weren’t without any strange story lines. There is a vast amount of players in your league who you should either trade for or get while you can. Thankfully I’m here to give guys some solid advice for your squad going forward.
So, here we go everyone, time to get this party started!
BUY LOW
T.Y. Hilton, WR Colts
From a tough schedule to Andrew Luck injuring his shoulder, the Colts have had a rough start to their 2015 season. Hilton was one player in Indianapolis who everyone grabbed early with high expectations for this year. So far, Hilton has caught 22 passes for 294 yards and no touchdowns. He’s received 41 targets from Luck this season and averages 73.5 yards per game. It may not seem like it, but Donte Moncrief will actually make Hilton a stronger fantasy option sooner than later. Moncrief is going to require a lot of attention because, he too, is a big offensive threat, so grab Hilton while you can!
Arian Foster, RB Texans
In Week 4, Foster made his season debut for Houston and seemed a bit rusty overall. He only attempted 8 rushes for 10 yards and caught 3 passes for 25 yards. Foster also lost a crucial fumble that was returned for a touchdown by the Falcons. In Week 3, Joseph Randle torched the Falcons defense for three scores, so what happened to Foster? Whoever owns him your fantasy league may just be a little nervous after this performance, so you should take advantage of the situation. You won’t be able to get him super cheap, but if you offer a fair enough trade you could have a great running back to anchor your team in the coming weeks!
Carlos Hyde, RB 49ers
Where is the Hyde that we witnessed dominate the Vikings in Week 1? That week, he had 26 attempts for 168 yards and two scores, setting the fantasy football world on fire. Since Week 1, though, Hyde has 36 attempts for 114 yards and no touchdowns. San Francisco’s offense has had a rough few weeks, not being able to move the ball much through the air whatsoever. The 49ers always seem to be playing from behind, so it’s tough for Hyde to get enough reps on the field. I believe that things will be figured out among the 49ers organization and Hyde will be a huge asset for fantasy purposes this season, so get him if you can.
SELL HIGH
Andy Dalton, QB Bengals
I understand that Dalton is on an MVP type of pace so far this season, but I just don’t see him continuing to be this good. In 2015, he’s thrown for 1,182 yards, nine touchdowns and just one interception. Dalton has completed 67.2 percent of his passes and owns an 87.71 QBR this year. All these great numbers will drastically decrease over the next few weeks, though. The next two weeks, Dalton gets to play both the Bills and the Seahawks, who both have solid defenses that should dominate the Bengals. If I was a Dalton owner, I would sell high now and get a better option at quarterback who will be solid come fantasy playoff time.
Devonta Freeman, RB Falcons
Freeman has been a straight up beast over the last couple of weeks in Atlanta. So far this season, he has rushed 66 times for 252 yards and a whopping seven touchdowns. He’s averaging 63.3 yards per game, but can he keep up with these totals? The Falcons are typically a pass happy offense, with players such as Julio Jones getting the majority of the offensive production. Also, Tevin Coleman will be back soon once his broken ribs heal and will take reps from Freeman. Coleman actually looked really good for the Falcons, so we could see running back by committee with Kyle Shanahan’s offense. Sell high while you still have the chance to with Freeman.

Karlos Williams, RB Bills
Rookie running back Williams has looked marvelous in the absence of LeSean McCoy. This season, he has 42 attempts for 226 yards and three touchdowns. He owns one of the league’s highest yards per rushing attempt at 5.4 per play. The Bills have shown promise for once within the fantasy spectrum in 2015, but when McCoy comes back, I think that Williams will see a decreased role. Buffalo didn’t trade away, Kiko Alonso for McCoy just to let him see a limited number of snaps. Now is the time to trade Williams to get optimum value, get a workhorse back that you know won’t be in a committee.
