Free NBA DFS Draftkings Lineup Advice 10/29/15

After a very successful night of picks for those of you who read yesterday’s article, it is everyone’s least favorite day: Thursday night. Only 3 games tonight, so sleepers are extremely important, even more so than usual. Early in the season is where you gotta take advantage of many player’s low prices and find some under priced starters.

Last night’s highlight picks:

Gallinari:  47 DK points

Walker: 36.5 DK points

Paul George: 50 DK points

Okafor: 38.25 DK points

Noel: 43.5   DK points

Drummond: 38 DK points

Favors: 38 DK points

Rubio: 55.5 DK points(career high 14 assists)

So, let’s see what we’re up against.

Point Guard

George Hill $6,000

It would be too easy to say “Play Chris Paul tomorrow” so I’m not going to. Looking at Indiana’s offense it really is just PG13 and Hill(honorable mention to Monta Ellis). Hill is $6,000 which is almost stealing. Conley is a pretty good defender, but George doesn’t need to score to be valuable, he gets steals, assists, and can knock down 3s. In this three game slate, pay up for forwards and big men, and go cheap at guard.

Dennis Schroeder $4,700

Was probably the #1 sleeper of the Tuesday night 3 game slate. Schroeder was a lone bright spot in a surprisingly dysfunctional Hawks’ offense. He is electric off the bench and can score in bunches. I think this game goes into garbage time, so I say Schroeder reaps the rewards of the blowout.

Shooting Guard

 Sasha Vujacic $3,000

What a game Vujacic had on Wednesday. 11 points, 4 steals, and 6 rebounds. At minimum price, how can you say no? He is starting for the Knicks and gets points in other ways besides just scoring. He will be highly owned though, so maybe think of fading him in a few contests.(Keep an eye on Afflalo’s health).

CJ Miles $3,600

I have always loved Miles as a punt play in any lineup, but now he is a much more juicy than ever. Miles is starting and is the 3rd option in the Pacer’s offense. He loves hitting 3s and can get steals as well. He put up 18 and 3 steals against the Raptors on Wednesday. At $3,600 he seems like an awesome GPP play.

Small Forward

Paul George $8,200

He’s back!! PG13 went nuts last night, putting up very close to a triple double(17, 12 rebs, 8 assists). It seems that he isn’t limited at all and is still very cheap right now, so get as much of PG as you can, before his price sky rockets. But with a low price means his ownership % will be high, but in such a small slate tomorrow, you probably will lose if you fade him. One thing about George that worried me is that he did shoot 4 for 17 from the field, but luckily they don’t take points off for missed shots.

Derrick Williams $3,200

I cannot believe Derrick Williams made it into one of our posts…He was considered a huge bust after the T-Wolves shipped him off to Sacramento. Williams had 35.75 DK points in just 21 minutes on Wednesday(Rub your eyes, that sentence is reality). The Knicks saw something in Williams when they signed him this summer, it looks like they want him to be their 6th man, which is probably the perfect role for him. $3,200 is just too little for him, so get your fill while his price is this low.

Power Forward

Paul Millsap $7,800

The match up is just too juicy to pass up. I can’t see Lopez and Porzingas being able to stop Horford and Millsap, it almost seems unfair. Millsap looked great on Tuesday and he should be able to dominate offensively and especially defensively against the Knicks. Expect a big game out of Millsap on Thursday. To be honest, I am not a big fan of any other Power Forwards on Thursday, if you want a sleeper, Kyle O’ Quinn in garbage time should be a pretty safe bet.

Center

 DeAndre Jordan $7,700

You knew I had to post about DeAndre playing the Mavericks, right?? What happened with Jordan and the Mavs this summer was one of the weirdest sports stories I have ever heard. The blood between Jordan and Mavs is real. I expect a huge game out of Jordan playing at home, not to mention he is going up against Zaza Pachulia. It doesn’t matter how many superstars the clippers have, Jordan always manages to get points from blocks, rebounds, and steals, so do not shy away because CP3 and Blake Griffin are starting next to him. $7,700 may be a little steep, but i think it should be well worth it for the short run.

Ian Mahimi $3,900

Ian is probably the #1 under priced starter of the Thursday’s slate, Mahimi played great against the Raptors on Tuesday, he finished the game with 10 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks, and a sneaky 3 assists. Mahimi is easily my favorite punt play tomorrow. I am a little nervous about him going up against Gasol, but he gets points in a lot of ways, so should be a nice GPP and cash game play. Mahimi stuffs the stat sheet across the board, but be aware of foul trouble, he fouled out last night.
