Just 6 games on the slate tonight, let’s jump check it out!

Point Guards

Elfrid Payton $5,800 @ BKN

It looks like Payton is finally out of his slump that has been going on basically the entire season. Payton is playing with incredible hustle and aggressiveness as of late, averaging 16 PPG, 9.0 APG, and 6.7 RPG over his last 3 contests. Over his NBA career, Payton has really struggled to find his shot and score the basketball but he’s really found his stroke as of late, shooting 53% from the field over the last week and a half. The Nets give up the 7th most fantasy points to opposing point guards, even with Oladipo back tonight, Payton is a steal for $5,800 tonight in Brooklyn.

John Wall $9,900 @ GS

nba dfs 3/29

The Wizards(who made it to the 2nd round last year) are fighting for their playoff lives as they are 2.5 games back of the Pistons in the East standings. No one on the Wizards wants to make the playoffs more than John Wall and he’s going to do everything in his power to win these last few remaining contests. In his one matchup with Golden State this season, Wall had 41 points, 10 assists, and 2 steals. His price tag isn’t ideal, but with his usage rate and recent play, he could be the superstar to pay up for tonight. Barring a blowout, Wall should see 40+ minutes tonight as the Wiz fight for the final playoff spot in the East.

Sneaky GPP Play- Shane Larkin

Shooting Guards

James Harden $10,400 @ CLE

Much like Wall, Harden has been playing excellent basketball as of late as his team fights for a playoff spot. At this point in the season, teams know if they are playing for lottery picks or playing for the playoffs, and like the Wizards, the Rockets are a bubble team, so every game counts and players are giving their all night in and night out. LeBron James has already been ruled out tonight, so nobody on the Cavs will be able to contain The Beard, who is averaging 65fpts/game over his last four contests.

Sneaky GPP Play- J.R. Smith

Small Forwards

Robert Covington $6,000 @ CHA

Covington has been nothing if not consistent as of late, averaging 34.9 fpts/game over his last 8 contests. In those 8 games he has had just one game with less than 31.5 fpts. Covington is grabbing double digit rebounds every night and has been taking an obscene amount of 3-pointers lately(averaging 9  3-point attempts/game over his last 3 contests) With Noel and Okafor out, the 76ers are in desperate need of offense so they’ve been relying heavily on Cov and Ish for a boost. The 6ers played Charlotte earlier last week and Covington unloaded for 39 fpts.

Sneaky GPP play- Michael Beasley

Power Forwards

Kevin Love $6,800 vs. HOU

LeBron is out tonight due to rest and whenever that’s the case, Love goes back into “Minnesota Mode” grabbing a ton of rebounds and scoring at will. Houston has really struggled this season at defending…well…everybody, but especially stretch 4s like Kevin Love. Kyrie and K-Love will be running the show tonight against a Houston team that is giving up 107 PPG to opposing teams. The Rockets should thank their lucky stars to be sitting in the 8th spot in the West right now, as they give up the 5th most points/game of any team in the league…the only teams that give up more points: Lakers, 76ers, Suns, and Sacramento (all teams who are going to have nice lottery picks this year) As long as Love stays out of foul trouble he should have excellent value at just $6,800 tonight. The last time LeBron sat out, Love had 52.5 fpts and Kyrie ended with 44.25

Sneaky GPP play- Andrew Nicholson

Centers

Enes Kanter $4,700 @ DET

If I had to bet who puts up the most fantasy points in the least amount of playing time my first guess would be Enes Kanter. Kanter comes off the bench and provides instant offense for the Thunder, no matter what team they’re playing or who is guarding him. Just the other night against the Spurs, Kanter played just 21 minutes, but still managed to grab 10 rebounds and score 20 points. Over his last 8 games(all off the bench) Kanter is averaging 31.5 fpts/game. Gotta love the matchup tonight for both Kanter and Steven Adams because of the hack-a-Dre strategy most teams employ on Drummond. It leads to easy rebounds off missed free throws and in turn, more fantasy points.

Dewayne Dedmon $3,300 vs. BKN

Coming off of season highs in both points and rebounds, Dedmon has another juicy matchup tonight against the Nets. Vucevic and Oladipo both practiced Monday, but Coach Skiles still hasn’t hinted at if Vucevic will play or not. If Vuce sits again tonight, Dedmon’s $3,300 price tag clears up a ton of cap space so you can fit in the Walls, Westbrooks, and Currys of the world. Hopefully Skiles takes notice of Dedmon’s recent play and gives him more minutes because Dedmon’s value is almost solely dependent on his minutes/game. If Vuce is out again, Dedmon and Nicholson make for excellent punts against Brooklyn.

Sneaky GPP Play- Steven Adams
