Free NBA DFS FanDuel Advice for 12/16/15

It’s time once again, GF2 fans, for my free NBA DFS FanDuel advice for the Wednesday slate of games! On Wednesday, we’ll have a massive 12 games to choose players from, so it should be interesting! Like always, I’ll give you all my top play and value pick for each position.

So, get ready and take notes!

NBA DFS FanDuel lineup advice for 12/16/15

Point Guards

Top Play: Stephen Curry, vs. Suns ($11,100)

I know, I know Curry is by far the most obvious choice out of the entire league, but he has one of the best overall matchups! Each of the other top point guard options had dreadful matchups, so I went with Curry for this slate. This season, he’s averaging a lucrative 48.64 FanDuel points per game and will be facing off against a beatable Suns team. In 2015, Phoenix has allowed an average of 43.1 FanDuel points to opposing point guards.

Value Pick: Isaiah Canaan, vs. Hawks ($4,200)

Like I said earlier, it’s slim pickings for the point guards on Wednesday night. Canaan is a guy who I just have a gut feeling about. He’ll be facing off against a Hawks squad, who allows an average of 42.4 FanDuel points per contest to opposing point guards this year. Canaan is a super cheap option that could pay decent dividends

Other Options:

Russell Westbrook, vs. Blazers ($10,800)

Damian Lillard, vs. Thunder ($9,200)

Shooting Guards

Top Pick: C.J. McCollum, vs. Thunder ($7,100)

I feel a high-scoring game coming with this Thunder versus Blazers matchup! In 2015, McCollum has been fantastic, averaging 30.41 FanDuel points per game. This year, Oklahoma City has allowed an average of 35.0 FanDuel points per contest to opposing shooting guards, making McCollum a safe play.

Value Pick: Wesley Matthews, vs. Pacers ($5,500)

As a Mavericks fan, I’ve been waiting all season long for Matthews to get in his groove. Over the last month, he’s finally been playing over 30 minutes per game, averaging 21.11 FanDuel points for the year. This season, Indiana has given up an average of 35.7 FanDuel points per game to opposing shooting guards.

Other Options:

Dwyane Wade, vs. Nets ($6,900)

Klay Thompson, vs. Blazers ($6,400)

Small Forwards

Top Pick: Kawhi Leonard, vs. Wizards ($8,800)

Leonard should have no problem at all giving us all a great DFS outing versus Washington. This season, the Wizards have given up a league-worst 40.4 FanDuel points per contest to opposing small forwards. This year, Leonard has averaged a solid 38.58 FanDuel points per game, making him a nice start each night.

Value Pick: Marcus Morris, vs. Celtics ($5,700)

From time to time, Morris will burn us loyal DFS players but for this slate, he should be a decent play. This year, he has averaged 25.49 FanDuel points per game and draws a nice matchup in the Celtics. In 2015, Boston has allowed an average of 36.5 FanDuel points per contest to small forwards.

Other Options:

Kevin Durant, vs. Blazers ($10,300)

Nicolas Batum, vs. Magic ($7,400)

Power Forwards

Top Pick: Paul Millsap, vs. 76ers ($8,300)

There is always so many great players to use for the power forward position, but for this slate I absolutely love Millsap! This season, he has averaged a cool 38.13 FanDuel points per game and draws a juicy matchup against the 76ers. In 2015, Philly has allowed a league-worst 48.3 FanDuel points per contest to power forwards, making Millsap my favorite play of the night.

Value Pick: Ersan Ilyasova, vs. Celtics ($4,800)

Ilyasova is just another cheap player for Detroit who I see having a nice Wednesday night for DFS purposes. The Celtics haven’t been the best defensive squad this season, allowing an average of 44.5 FanDuel points per game to opposing power forwards.

Other Options:

Blake Griffin, vs. Bucks ($9,400)

Derrick Favors, vs. Pelicans ($7,700)

Centers

Top Pick: Marc Gasol, vs. Bulls ($8,100)

The Gasol brothers will be going head-to-head on Wednesday night! This year, he has averaged a consistent 32.52 FanDuel points per night, making him a solid play. In 2015, the Bulls have allowed an average of 49.0 FanDuel points per contest to opposing centers.

Value Pick: Enes Kanter, vs. Blazers ($4,900)

Like I said earlier, I believe this game will be a rather high scoring affair! This year, Kanter has averaged a solid 21.07 FanDuel points per game and has a shot to score above that normal average. So far this year, the Blazers have given up a league-worst 50.0 FanDuel points per contest to opposing centers, so get this cheap option into your lineups!

Other Options:

Nikola Vucevic, vs. Hornets ($7,300)

Hassan Whiteside, vs. Nets ($7,000)
