Covey has been one of the White Sox best pitchers all year and has a 3.33 ERA in the month of June. The opposing starter Yovani Gallardo has been unable to figure it out this season and is holding a 7.84 ERA in his two starts this month. I expect Covey to outduel the veteran pitcher Gallardo to a narrow win for the White Sox.

How well Cardinals pitcher Miles Mikolas has pitched this year has not been talked about enough. He is 8-2 with a 2.69 ERA on the season and has been one of the most reliable pitchers in the National League so far. He pitches today against the 5-5 Julio Teheran who has a 4.52 ERA this season and the Braves have lost four of his last five starts. I say you take the home team with the better pitcher in this matchup.

He has not allowed more than three runs in a start this month and has a record of 2-1 in June. The Pirates pitcher Joe Musgrove is falling in the other direction as the Pirates have not won a game he has started this month and he has 7.45 ERA this month. Take the pitcher who is rolling right now and take the Padres to win this game.
