The Monster Energy Cup series travels to Michigan International Speedway(MIS). This track is a 2-mile, D-shaped oval, with moderate banking.

Kyle Larson(DraftKings $10500, FanDuel $11500): Larson will be the chalk pick this weekend. Why? He has won the last three Michigan races: August 2016, June 2017, and August 2017. Build your cash lineup around him, but fade him in your GPPs.
Joey Logano(DraftKings $9800, FanDuel $10900): Logano is a strong contender at MIS. He has racked up two wins(August 2013, June 2016), five Top 5’s, and 12 Top 10’s. More specifically, he has eight Top 10’s in his last 10 starts at Michigan.
Jamie McMurray(DraftKings $7600, FanDuel $9200): Lately, McMurray is suprisingly consistent at MIS. He has six Top 10 finishes in the last seven races at Michigan. Before this streak, he has been very average at this track.
Chase Elliott(DraftKings $9000, FanDuel $10600): This young popular driver has excelled at this track. In his only four races at MIS, he has come close to winning three times, finishing 2nd in the June 2016, August 2016, and June 2017 races respectively. In the August 2017 race, he finished a respecatable 8th place. His average finish in these four races is an impressive 3.50.
Michigan Hometown Narratives
Brad Keselowski(DraftKings $10100, FanDuel $11300): Keselowski reigns from a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. And, he isn’t even the most famous Rochester citizen as that goes to 1980’s icon, Madonna. He has never won at MIS, but has had decent runs at this track. He has an average finish of 10.00 in his last four races at Michigan. In the August 2017 Michigan race, he domiminated early by leading 103 of the first 110 laps, but faded to 17th by the end of the race.
Erik Jones(DraftKings $8400, FanDuel $9600): Jones is from a small mid-michigan town of Byron, and is a diehard Detroit Lions(poor guy) and Detroit Red Wings fan. He lost his father a couple of years ago to cancer, when Jones was 20 years old. Returning to Michigan is always an emotional trip for him. In his only two races at this track, he placed 13th in the June 2017, and had an impressive 3rd place finish in the August 2017 race.
