NBA DFS (Draftkings) – Monday 12/10

Hello all, hope everyone had a good weekend! Alright, so Monday we got 11 games in the association. I am going to cover the games that are going to be higher scoring. From each game I will pick three players, one will be listed under “Shoot” that’s my top play of the day at his position. “And 1” this is a player with a low-price, high-upside. “Airball” this is a player that I would be avoiding for this game.

Pelicans @ Celtics

Shoot: Jrue Holiday

Anthony Davis left Sunday afternoons game early after he had a collision with Blake Griffin, he ended up returning though. It is up in the air if Davis will start after that and on a back to back. Holiday was the high scoring man in the 116-108 victory on Sunday against the Pistons. Holiday has been pretty consistent as well this season, averaging 44.2 FPPG at an $8,000 salary. I expect him to have a solid performance especially if Davis is out as he is questionable.

And 1: Jaylen Brown

With Al Horford being questionable as well, there’s going to be more need for someone to step up for the Celtics. With a salary of $5,000 Brown is averaging 21.5 FPPG.  Even if Horford does play, I like the price for Brown.

Airball: E’Twaun Moore

I had Moore as my And 1 play yesterday and he did not produce like I thought he would. Plus he’s going to have a tougher matchup against Boston as they are 2nd OPRK against SG/SFs. In his past four games he is only scored over 10 fantasy points in one of those games and that was against Dallas. I know he is not to expensive salary wise but, the production just has not been there in recent games. This could be due to injury nonetheless, I would stay away for this matchup.

Honrorable Mentions: Julius Randall ($7100), Kylie Irving ($8900), Gordan Hayward ($5700)

Jazz @ Thunder

Shoot: Russell Westbrook

Westbrook is one of the most fun players to watch in the league in my opinion, he is so dynamic and has that switch. With a $11,000 salary and averaging 56.1 FPPG and 57.1 over his last ten games. The Jazz OPRK is 20th against PGs and Westbrook is one of the best they got. I think he has a big night at home verse Utah.

And 1: Nerleans Noel

Averaging 17.6 FPPG in only 14.1 minutes a game, Noel has a bargain salary at $3,400. His defensive numbers are what racks him up his points in such limited playing time.

Airball: Rudy Gobert

Gobert is averaging 39.1 FPPG at a price of $7,900. I just am not a fan of this match up with the Thunder as they are 3rd OPRK against Cs.

Honorable Mentions: Steve Adams ($6800), Joe Ingles ($6100), Dennis Schroder ($5100)

Grizzlies @ Nuggets

Shoot: Nikola Jokic

This game has a lot of players either out or questionable on both sides. I like Jokic because, he has been very consistent this year across the board. He is also apart of one of the biggest surprises so far of the season, the Denver Nuggets. Averaging 44.8 FPPG with a salary of $9,300 Jokic, is another one of those no brainer guys I talked about yesterday. One thing that kind of caught my eye was in the first meeting between these two teams, Jokic only had 21.8 fantasy points in 26 minutes. I know Memphis is a good defensive team however, I do not see that happening again. I like this play and it’s in Denver.

And 1: JaMychal Green

Green has had a pretty solid year so far and pretty good numbers. He’s averaging 24.0 FPPG in 23.1 minutes a game. He has a cheap salary as well at $4,400, for that value I like this play in this matchup, Denver is 21 OPRK against SF/PFs.

Airball: Juancho Hernangómez

I know his salary isn’t pricey at $4,700, and he is averaging a solid 21.2 FPPG. Denver has a lot of banged up players right now so I expect his minutes to be up in this game. The Grizzlies are 7th in OPRK against SF/PFs.

Honorable Mentions: Marc Gasol ($8300), Jaren Jackson Jr ($5900), Mason Plumlee ($3900)

Timberwolves @ Warriors

Shoot: Kevin Durant

In the first meeting between these two teams, KD put up 56.8 fantasy points. His salary is $10,100, he’s also putting up 52.0 FPPG. In the last ten games, Durant has jumped to 58.3 FPPG. Minnesota is 30th OPRK, I expect KD to have another big game Monday night in Oakland.

And 1: Derrick Rose

Rose has been having a season with flashes of the old D.Rose at some points. At 30.6 FPPG, with a price of $5,500 I think he is a safe play with not to high of a salary. In the first game earlier this year, Rose only had 6.5 fantasy points and just 5 minutes.. don’t expect that same result Monday night.

Airball: Andrew Wiggins

In the matchup earlier in the season, Wiggins had 34.5 fantasy points. With a salary of $5,900 Wiggins, in the past ten games has regressed to 23.8 FPPG. The warriors are also 8th in OPRK against SG/SFs.

Honorable Mentions: Stephen Curry ($9900), Karl-Anthony Towns ($9200), Draymond Green ($7000)
