Happy Monday folks! You probably don’t know me, but I am your guest writer for today. My name is Marcus, and I represent www.dfsxperts.com. We specialize in DFS content and education. My buddy Geoff Lambert was kind enough to let me invade his space today, so with that being said, let’s get into the NBA slate for tonight. Oh, and since you all are probably not used to my writing style, DK is short for DraftKings and FD is short for FanDuel. You probably would have figured that out, but just in case, I’ve got you covered.
Point Guard
Top plays: Stephen Curry, John Wall, Kemba Walker
Isaiah Thomas $7,800DK $8,400FD
Thomas stands out to me tonight for one particular reason. In three games against Washington this year, he has averaged 37.6 fppg. Which to me is pretty clear, when he plays Washington, put him in. It doesn’t hurt that their game also has a high over/under and a close spread.
Mike Conley $6,200DK $6,600FD
I like Conley for this price/potential ratio right now. He has come back strong from his injury, and is contributing is multiple areas on the stat sheet. Even though he will be in a low scoring projected game, I think he will be a top contributor for his team, and have some good fantasy numbers. He also has a great matchup at his position.

Value plays: Norris Cole, Marcus Smart, Patrick Beverly
Fade: Reggie Jackson – He has been off his game, plus he plays the fantasy point killing Utah Jazz tonight.
Shooting Guard
Top plays: James Harden, Jimmy Butler
Victor Oladipo $7,200DK $6,200FD
Oladipo has once again returned to his early season fantasy relevant self now that he is seeing minutes. I especially like his price on FanDuel, where I feel that he is a steal tonight against a mid-level defense.
Rodney Hood $5,900DK $5,500FD
Hood is another guy I’ve got my eye on for tonight. He has emerged as an offensive threat with all of the injuries in Utah. Even as some guys come back, he is still being more aggressive with his shooting. He has a great matchup against Detroit who have been terrible against SG’s in their last five games. Great price, great setup, why not right?

Value plays: Tyler Johnson (PG on FD), Manu Ginobili, Evan Fournier, Danny Green
Fade: Avery Bradley
Small Forward
Top Plays: LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard
Jae Crowder $6,400DK $6,600FD
Not sure what’s gotten into this guy lately, but he suddenly just started BALLIN’. He has been a beast this season against Washington, and I expect that to continue tonight.
Other plays: Gordon Hayward, Danilo Gallinari, Kent Bazemore, Otto Porter, Tobias Harris, Omri Casspi
Value Plays: Matt Barnes, Trevor Ariza, Aaron Gordon, Corey Brewer
Fade: Marcus Morris, Shabazz Muhammad (LeBron will probably shut him down)
Power Forward
Top plays: DeMarcus Cousins (C on FD), Anthony Davis, Draymond Green
Kevin Love $7,200DK $7,100FD
Love will play his old team tonight, and I think he will put on a show. New coach Tyronn Lue will be expecting more out of him down low, and I believe this could easily result in rebounding and free throw numbers going up tremendously. The Timberwolves Outkast brings them The Love Below tonight.
Chris Bosh $7,700DK $7,600FD
The Heat roster is beat up at the moment, and with Wade struggling, and multiple injuries, it’s up to Bosh to bare the load. This fact, combined with the terrible post defense that is the Chicago Bulls, should result in him having a pretty good game. That’s if they can avoid getting blown out.

Value plays: Nene Hilario, Josh Smith, Tristan Thompson, Marvin Williams, Darrell Arthur (if Faried out)

Center
Top plays: Andre Drummond, Pau Gasol
Al Horford $6,900DK $7,600FD
There’s one rule that is pretty much constant in fantasy basketball this year, and that is whoever the Nuggets are facing, play the other teams big men. They are terrible in the post, and Horford should have all of the opportunity he needs to exploit them in the paint. He’s an especially good value on DK tonight.
Rudy Gobert $6,400DK $7,000
This is a very interesting matchup tonight in my opinion. You have superstar center Andre Drummond against up and comer Rudy Gobert. I predict that Gobert outperforms Drummond tonight. I think that Drummond gets into foul trouble and sits, and meanwhile Gobert rips the Pistons front line to shreds. We’ll see if I was right later tonight, but that’s what I envision.

Value plays: Kelly Olynyk, Nikola Jokic, Willie Cauley-Stein, Spencer Hawes
Fade: Nikola Vucevic, Karl Anthony-Towns
