NFL FanDuel and DraftKings DFS GPP Lineup Advice: Week 12

Hopefully, everyone had a great Turkey Day, while enjoying some football! We are back at it this Sunday for Week 12 action with plenty of interesting matchups. Injuries have piled up both on offense and defense for teams, all relevant for DFS purposes. Let’s take a deep dive into this slate to find some of the best GPP lineup options.

Quarterbacks

FanDuel

Tom Brady (NE) @ NYJ $8,200

It seems like it has been a while since we have had the option to play Tom Brady. Stars are starting to align for the future hall-of-fame inductee, as both Sony Michel and Rob Gronkowski look healthy enough to start. Coming off their bye week, the Patriots should be in excellent form to lay a beat down on the division rival Jets. Brady has under-preformed, to his standards, this season and I fully expect him to come out blazing.

DraftKings

Nick Mullens (SF) @ TB $5,400

Tampa Bay has allowed 25 passings scores this season, while only recording 1 interception. Quarterbacks, on average, own a 124.9 QB rating against this atrocious defense. Mullens could come in between 1-3% ownership, at a very reasonable price. The quarterback position is a bit of a mess this week, with some of the best options unavailable on this slate. Mullens can easily hit 3X value at this price.

Others to consider: Carson Wentz, Lamar Jackson, Cam Newton, Eli Manning

Running Backs

FanDuel

Matt Breida (SF) @ TB $6,400

Although I do like the air attack in this game, Matt Breida should also have a big game against this defense. With Alfred Morris the only back-up, Breida should carry the majority of the workload. He is coming off a 132-yard game against a much tougher opponent. Tampa Bay has allowed the most rushing touchdowns against this season, while also ranking 27th in rush defense DVOA and 29th rush defense per PFF. He will likely go overlooked with so many great options at the position.

DraftKings

Saquon Barkley (NYG) @ PHI $9,100

I have been high on Barkley all season long. I still feel that he is the most talented running back in the NFL and is now in a fantastic matchup. The Eagles are completely depleted on defense. They have a long list of injuries and will struggle to slow down the play-makers on the Giants. In his previous game against the Eagles, Barkley tallied 229 all-purpose yards. He will, once again, be leaned on, regardless of game script.

Others to consider: James Conner, Nick Chubb, Joe Mixon, Marlon Mack, Josh Adams

Wide Receivers

FanDuel

Marquise Goodwin (SF) @ TB $5,000

As you can tell, I like the 49’ers this week. Goodwin has the speed to beat this secondary. He is the ultimate GPP wide receiver, as we all know. His floor is low, but the ceiling is immense. He is much more valuable on FanDuel at a $600 savings. We only need one long touchdown catch from Goodwin to pay off his price. With the salary relief, we can afford to pay up for the running backs who have a much higher floor, in the top tier.

DraftKings

Kenny Stills (MIA) @ IND $3,900 @ IND

Another value option is Dolphins wide-out, Kenny Stills. Both Danny Amendola and Devante Parker were limited this week in practice. Not to say they will both miss, but we do know that Ryan Tannehill has a rapport with Stills and the two have been on the field together all week. In Week 1, Stills went off for 4-106-2. His upside is huge. At near minimum price, Stills will be a great target in DFS at very lower ownership.

Others to consider: OBJ, Mike Evans, Emmanuel Sanders, T.Y. Hilton

Tight Ends

Full disclosure – Cameron Brate is going to be heavily owned. OJ, Howard is out for the year, leaving plenty of opportunity for Brate. He is very cheap on both sites and is in a decent matchup. He should easily be a cash game lock but can be faded in GPP’s as I do not see him going off for enough points to sink lineups. Coming in around 30%+ ownership, at a very volatile position, I highly recommend the fade.

FanDuel

George Kittle (SF) @ TB $7,500

Shocking, another 49’er. What makes George Kittle an amazing GPP option on FanDuel, is that he is priced just $100 less than Zach Ertz. His ownership will be in the single digits, with 20 point upside.

DraftKings

David Njoku (CLE) @ CIN $3,800

The Cincinnati Bengals have become the worst defense in the NFL. Of course, giving up a 50 burger to the Saints did not help. Cincy has allowed the 6th most fantasy points to tight ends this season, so Njoku is checking a lot of boxes for a great DFS option.

Others to consider: Rob Gronkowski, Zach Ertz, Eric Ebron, Jared Cook, Greg Olsen
