Recap and Replay The Red Zone With Kellie and Rashan 9/9/16

We at The Red Zone are beyond elated that FOOTBALL IS FINALLY BACK!  We dedicated this show to the sport we love best among all sports.

We started the show with a recap and our opinion on the first NFL game of the season!  The Carolina Panthers were defeated once again by the Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos.  We discussed the hits on Cam Newton and if there will be any lasting injuries stemming from the ugly helmet to helmet hit that was not called.  We finished off our talk about the game by mentioning the Colin Kaepernick controversy and Brandon Marshall joining in with the protest.

We went over our poll question, what team is the early favorite to win the Super Bowl?  Twitter, you guys picked the Carolina Panthers.  Rashan likes the Steelers and I’m picking the Cardinals.

We went on to preview and talk about some things we are excited about this coming season and give our predictions for Sunday’s NFL games.

For the second half, we welcomed in special guest Courtney Harden of The Real Deal, also part of the Momentum Shift family.  Three Philadelphia Eagles fans on the air together?  Yeah, we went there.  We discussed the latest trades, what we’re excited about, and gave our predictions for the season.

We ended with our hilarious game, Nailed It or Failed It!  Courtney, as our guest, was read tweets and quotes from this week in the sports world.  Courtney then gave his opinion if they nailed it or failed it and why.  We get the chance to respond and laughs and jokes ensue.  This is always my favorite part of the show.
