Replay Momentum Shift Weekly Rewind 2/26/17

Enjoy the second episode of the Momentum Shift Weekly Rewind!  This concept has been in development behind the scenes at Momentum Shift for a while.  We are always looking for ways to cross over so we can all get together, but various schedule conflicts prevent it.  So we came up with a plan to start a new weekly show where we can all participate when free and invite some of the closest friends of our family to fill out a round table discussion.  Just like a Sunday family dinner, we all have something new to bring to the table.

For the second week the panel includes:

Courtney Harden the voice and man behind The Real Deal with Courtney Harden on Momentum Shift Radio, a long time staple in sports talk radio, Courtney has been involved in radio and also writing in the sports world.  Always insightful and inspirational, Courtney has countless contacts he brings on as guests to help the listeners get a unique perspective in sports news.

Kellie Ruttar one half of the Momentum Shift show The Red Zone with Kellie and Rashan, sexy sports hostess extraordinaire and the only lady able to keep the rest of the Momentum Shift crew in line.  Kellie also writes for our sponsor website goingfor2.com where she specializes in rants but occasionally does an inspiring opinion, cute fluff piece, or NFL draft prospect interviews.

Rashan Reeves the other half of Momentum Shift’s The Red Zone with Kellie and Rashan, never quiet and always with an opinion, this Philly boy will speak his mind with a realist attitude unparalleled.  Rashan has a large pool of sports knowledge and uses it to make his points in a way that makes anyone who disagrees back down.

Damian Adams friend of the Momentum Shift radio family, host of The Real Deal with Damian Adams and writer at the3pointconversion.com.  Also check out his Real Take of the Week on YouTube for great information and a refreshing take on what’s happening in sports.

Geoff Lambert sponsor of the Momentum Shift radio family and mastermind of goingfor2.com, bringing you the best in DFS.  Geoff also hosts the Press Coverage Podcast on Talk Loud Radio.

This week the topics brought to the table were just as diverse as the panel.  We started with what the NBA and NFL can do to improve the All-Star weekend and the Pro Bowl.

Second topic was about money and sports and if the amount athletes are making these days is detrimental to the enjoyment of the sport.

Third topic was our five favorite athlete nicknames.

Before the commercial break, we did a laugh segment to clear the air called Kellie’s Creep of the Week where I read one of my dms from the many crazy people I get stalking my Facebook page.

After the break, we went into the next topic, which was is an NBA finals three-peat of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors good or bad for the NBA.  This also got us into a discussion on what teams could challenge these two for a chance at the finals.

The final question of the evening was, should athletes speak out on political, racial, and other social issues.

Be sure to tune in next week to the next show and see who is bringing what to the table on The Momentum Shift Weekly Rewind!

Kellie Ruttar

I'm a hard core Eagles fan and pure football girl. I rant, I rave, I trash talk. I write about what's pissing me off, NFL and Philadelphia Eagles opinion pieces, personal insight on the NFL, and draft prospect interviews. Outside of the NFL my teams are the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Boston Red Sox, the UCONN Huskies, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and although they're gone, they are not forgotten, long live the Hartford Whalers! Like my work? Hit me up on Twitter @kellieruttar Hate my work? Hit me up anyway, disagreement is the fire that fuels my passion.
