Thank you to goingfor2.com for being our website sponsor and bringing you these recaps so you never miss a moment of the fun, sexy, sports talk.

We started this week with some Thursday Night Football talk.  We discussed the ratings of the NFL with our caller Lou from Jersey and why Prime Time football has gone a little downhill.  We also recapped the game between the Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs.  We got into a little bit of London talk as well.

We gave an update on the Joe McKnight case after his tragic death and praised the police for doing their due diligence in arresting the suspect and doing what was needed to ensure he will be prosecuted.

Lou called us back and we talked a little bit about the Heisman trophy which brought up OJ Simpson.

For our rant segment, What The Hell Man! Rashan roasted Zach Ertz for being a little bitch, and he was dubbed the Brian Boitano of the NFL.  I took on Chip Kelly simply because I’m angry at the state of the Philadelphia Eagles and he’s ultimately the one to blame.

From here we went on to our predictions for the upcoming NFL playoffs, surprisingly we had a lot of agreement.

Next we welcomed in special guest Betty Cantley.  I was discouraged when Betty took Rashan’s side on the Michael Jordan versus LeBron James debate, but we bonded anyway over our shared fandom of the Cleveland Cavaliers.  We also brought up our recent Twitter poll:

What team has the best chance of spoiling a 3peat of a Warriors/Cavs finals?

Betty thinks the Mavericks are going to surprise us, but between the choices we offered selected the Spurs.  Rashan and I agree the Spurs have the best chance, but I’d like to see the Raptors step it up.

We ended with our hilarious game, Nailed It or Failed It!  We kept special guest Betty Cantley on the line to play, a talented NBA and sports podcaster and owner of several sports Facebook groups.  We read Betty quotes and tweets from around the sports world and she then gave her opinion if they nailed it or failed it and why.  We get the chance to respond and laughs and jokes ensue.  This devolved into some hilarious side conversation and I don’t remember laughing that hard for a long time, it was nice to have another lady on the line for once.

I write about what's pissing me off, NFL and Philadelphia Eagles opinion pieces, personal insight on the NFL, and draft prospect interviews. Outside of the NFL my teams are the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Boston Red Sox, the UCONN Huskies, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and although they're gone, they are not forgotten, long live the Hartford Whalers!
