First Post

So this is my first post, so I’ll start it of by telling you about myself. My name is Geoff, I’m 37, and I’m a lifelong sports fan. I’m a little more then an average fan, some of my friends call me a sports nerd. I follow the NFL and the NBA and I’ve been playing fantasy sports for over 10 years, and have won my fair share of league championships. When I first started playing fantasy, a lot of the analysis, the pod casts, the TV shows, and all the other forms of getting fantasy advice didn’t exist as it does today. I literally had every teams internet homepage saved on my favorites, and during the week I would read every little excerpt from their page. I had to basically become a “fan” of every team, scouring the Internet for any piece of information that might give me an advantage.

Having just started playing daily fantasy leagues recently, I’ve come to realize there is very little true analysis of these types of fantasy leagues. Sure, there are hundreds of guys claiming if you use their lineup you’re guaranteed to win money. Some even require you to pay them for their “sure thing lineup”.  What I hope to do with this blog, is not force feed you a lineup, but more an analysis of available players. Who I like, and why. Mention sleepers that you may not have thought of, or who has a good matchup and has potential to have a big game. And to also open it up for discussion through comments. Don’t agree with my analysis, feel free to challenge it. Having trouble deciding who to take between 2 players, a start/sit question so to speak, let me help you decide.

Now I do plan on posting my lineups here, but I’m not going to claim that’s it’s a sure thing. Again, it’s more of a discussion topic. Do you disagree with my choices and why? I want to make this as interactive as I can. This is my first blog, and I still have a lot to learn, and how to make it an interactive experience that will keep people coming back for more.
