The Best NFL DraftKings Cash Picks for Week 3 (9/26/21)

Introduction

Welcome back to goingfor2.com! I wanted to give a quick update, this will be my third article of the season. Week 1 our cash game article cashed in 50/50 contests. Week 2 our cash game article cashed in 50/50 contests. I’m not here to take a victory lap by any means, but just a reminder this is free content that can help you build winning lineups.

Quarterback

Joe Burrow ($5,500)

The Quarterback position is tricky this week. They’re many guys that I think could or should be in this spot. Personally I am a huge fan of paying down at Quarterback this week. Burrow is in a solid match-up vs The Steelers which rank 25th vs Quarterbacks. Joe Burrow has had a quiet start to the season, but I think this is a nice spot to get right here. The Vegas line has moved a bunch in this game, The Bengals started at +6.5 and are now +3. The Over/Under has moved a bit as well from 47 to 43.5, that to me says we may not see Ben Roethlisberger. I may get off of Burrow later in the week depending on what news we see. Feel free to message me on Facebook (Jared Good) or on Twitter (@TheYetiExpress) I respond to every question I get.

Running Backs

Dalvin Cook ($8,400)

Dalvin Cook is under priced in my opinion. This Vikings/Seahawks game has a massive 55 point total. Dalvin Cook is the focal point of this offense. Dalvin Cook is also heavily involved in the pass game and rushing game. Dalvin Cook is probably my favorite play on the entire slate, however he is questionable to play. Dalvin Cook did not practice on Wednesday, if he misses practice on Thursday he probably won’t play on Sunday. Keep an eye on Dalvin’s practice log this week, if he misses this game back up Running back Alexander Mattison becomes an easy plug and play.

Antonio Gibson ($5,900)

Antonio Gibson also enters this week with a questionable tag, however he has been practicing this week, he should be good to go. Antonio Gibson is just too cheap for his expected volume. Antonio Gibson is yet to score on the young season, but I don’t expect that to last much longer. The match-up vs The Bills isn’t the greatest match-up in the world, but The Bills have faced Myles Gaskin and Rookie Najee Harris. I think that Gibson is a very solid play assuming that most of these injured guys end up playing.

Wide Receivers

Chris Godwin ($6,100)

I absolutely love Chris Godwin this week. I know it’s a new season and things change, but one thing that hasn’t is the fact that Tom Brady is still elite. Antonio Brown is currently on the Covid-19 list and has very little time to try and get off of it. Mike Evans should see more of Jalen Ramsey, although Ramsey will not follow him. The Bucs/Rams game also has a massive total and Brady is going to have to throw to someone, my bet would be that it’s Godwin.

Tyler Boyd $4,700

Tyler Boyd has an opportunity to be in a very unique role this week in my opinion. Tee Higgins who is probably my favorite Wide Receiver in Cincinnati missed practice on Wednesday with a shoulder injury, if he misses this game I’ll be all over Boyd at this price tag. The expected targets could be near 10 if Higgins misses.

Tight-End

Kyle Pitts ($4,900)

I am a huge Kyle Pitts fan, I mean this guy is even in my Twitter bio. Kyle Pitts has been fairly quiet this season so far. The match-up vs The Giants is Tight-End gold, they have struggled for years against Tight-Ends. Atlanta didn’t draft this kid 3rd overall to not throw him the ball. I like Kyle Pitts almost every week, but this week in particular I feel like he is a can’t miss at just $4,900.

Defense

Defense is always my toughest pick to select. If you’re like me and need some defense help tune into The Armchair Fantasy Show on the Going for 2 Network Fridays at 10:30EST, Tim is a defensive wizard. The Dolphins have already ruled out Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, which means they will roll with Jacoby Brissett. The Raiders have a fairly solid pass rush and I think we can pencil in Brissett for a couple of turnovers. I also expect this game to be fairly low scoring.
