Welcome to the stacks report.  Many might know me from The DFS Round Table . Many might know me from NBA season when I did many write up. Either way. We’re here to take care of business. One of the hardest thing to predict week in and week out in NFL. Is who the top stack? This isn’t like baseball where we can just look at Vegas and boom done.

Football takes many different numeric measures. I will list the top things I look for in my stacks. This is how I will break down Each one.

1. Price/Projected value – Meaning the value they return on their stack.
2. Stacks game script- Make sure game scripts is in their favor.
3. Top Vegas games- Aim for a top Vegas game . High O/U and favorable for a shootout.
4. Matchups- Target the opponent Defense vs the pass . As well CB/WR matchup
5.  Correlations- QB/WR1 , QB/WR1/WR1 , WR/WR , RB/DEF. QB/TE

I will list my top 3 stacks I will be targeting for week 1 Sunday -Monday Slate

1. Matthew Stafford
   Marvin Jones
   Salary total cost : $11,800 FanDuel $12,900 Draftkings
   Vegas O/U: 51  -3 IND

I know what you’re thinking , Marvin Jones ? What ? Can’t be serious . Oh, I am . I’m dead serious. People have been on the Tate train since Calvin Johnson retired . Not I . 5 year 40 million dollar contract . Is what the lions forked out to get him . He about to play like a WR1 too. This guy has the size, speed, and hands. He just never got his opportunity . What better offense to play with than the one that passes among the top year in and year out . The Detriot Lions . Marvin Jones price makes him an excellent value and top cash game option.

Name 3 QB who have thrown for 5,000 yards or more in this league who are currently playing ?

1. Drew Brees
2. Tom Brady
3. Matthew Stafford

Shocking huh? Well, he did it in 2011 throwing for 5,038 yards . Best thing is he almost did it again in 2012 4,967 yards . Now I know what you’re saying . There’s no Calvin “Megatron” Johnson . Calvin Johnson will truly be missed . I highly doubt this offense misses a beat . They will throw the ball a ton . They’re going to have to. They’re facing the Indianapolis Colts. A team whom also passes a ton.

FACT: Vontae Davis is out for 4 weeks ! Meaning the Colts will be running out Antonio Cromartie who just got done fathering his 20th kid . Just kidding . But he not good. I will attack the Colts secondary strong

Prediction :

Matthew Stafford/Marvin Jones stack total point  = FanDuel: 34.5 Draftkings: 39.8

2. Derek Carr\Amari Cooper
Salary total cost : $14,800 FanDuel $14,500 Draftkings
Vegas O/U: 52 -2 NO
QB1/WR1

Derek Carr and Amari Cooper . Two of my favorite players to watch play every Sunday. Okay, who am I kidding? I’m a Raider fan that’s why . Only thing is in DFS you can’t let your favorite team be in your way of building your roster .

This week the head out to New Orleans , Home of Mardi Gras and one of the worst defense we have seen in the history of the NFL . Last year it was almost a plugin play anyone facing the N.O. defense . I see Cooper and Carr the AC/DC combo doing great . After all this defense allowed NFL record 43 TD last year.

Prediction :

Derek Carr/Amari Cooper stack total point  Fanduel : 35.9  Draftkings : 42.1

Now I have to say this before I started researching . I debated this harder than a First Take with Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless. Of course with myself. Not Geoff Lambert.

I love T.Y. Hilton But I looked at what Donta Moncrief been doing lately . Pre-Season , training camp , off-season, Twitter, Facebook , MySpace  . Okay, maybe I exaggerated on the MySpace part . This guy is my 1st favorite breakout WR this year . The other one being Marvin Jones . I’ve tried to draft both of these guys in all my season longs . The good thing about DFS, they priced Donte Moncrief like a WR3 price on both sites . DK: 6000 FD:62000.

I’m sure you noticed I have included Marvin Jones in this stack . Yes, I have. Reason being . I want a WR/WR correlations . Both WR being under priced allows me to upgrade to Andrew Luck.

Mark my words . Andrew Luck will be this week top scoring QB . Andrew Luck is healthy . Last year when he was healthy . He was a top 5 QB . He will prove it again in this game . This game will be a shootout.  51 O/U . Neither Team plays defense. The only defense that will be played in this game will be Pat McAfee defending his comedy stand up skills .To his defense , it’s not that bad. I laughed.

Prediction:

Andrew Luck/Dontae Moncrief/Marvin Jones FanDuel : 55.1  Draftkings:62.5
