Fantasy Football Top Waiver Adds Week 12
Gus Edwards RB (Ravens)

The Ravens running game has struggled to get going all year so they turned to rookie running back Gus Edwards. Edwards is a between the tackles bruiser who was able to take advantage of Lamar Jackson‘s impact on the offense by carrying the ball 17 times for 115 yards and a touchdown. If the Ravens stick with Edwards he can be an impact player down the stretch and this week he has another fantastic matchup against Oakland that can bring on big things.
Josh Adams RB (Eagles)

Josh Adams led the team in carries but was stuck in a terrible game script after being blown out by the Saints. In a low number of opportunities, Adams turned 10 touches into 72 yards and a touchdown proving to be the Eagles top back. The next 3 weeks the Eagles have a very winnable game that should up Adams value, even more, making him a nice play the next couple of weeks.
DJ Moore WR (Panthers)

DJ Moore had his breakout game showing why the Panthers took him in the first round. Moore exploded for 7 catches 157 yards and a TD on 8 targets. The rookie receiver is proving his trust with Cam Newton being tied for the team lead in targets this week but having 120 more yards than Funchess on the same targets. Moore is on the verge of being the team’s top receiver and its time to buy before it’s too late.
Jonnu Smith TE (Titans)

With tight end being an absolute nightmare of a position in fantasy this year, Jonnu Smith provides some value. In week 10 only seven tight ends had double-digit points and Jonnu was one of them. The second-year tight end now has three weeks in a row scoring double digits which should give some type of floor if you are not lucky enough to have a top guy.
Keke Coutee WR (Texans)

Apparently, everyone cut Keke Coutee when he got hurt because he’s available in over 85 percent of leagues. Coutee has played well with the absence of Fuller when he’s been healthy. On top of being healthy Coutee has an amazing schedule left for the rest of the season and should be startable thru the fantasy playoffs.
Lamar Jackson QB (Ravens)

In Lamar Jacksons first, start in the NFL the Ravens ran him 27 times which marks the most rushing attempts by a QB since 1950. This type of running volume gives a QB in fantasy a fantastic floor, and this week we should be able to see a glimpse of the ceiling playing against Oakland. Jackson started the game mainly just running but was allowed to open up the passing game as the game progressed, the more playing time he gets this should increase which will have some big games in the future.
Trey Quinn WR (Redskins)

A banged up Redskins receiving corps has opened up the opportunity to the drafts Mr. Irrelevant Trey Quinn. Quinn did a nice job filling the slot role in Jamison Crowder’s absence leading the team in reception and yards this week. Trey Quinn flashed during the preseason now it’s time to see if he can be consistent when the games on the line but it definitely worth an add in deep leagues.
Tre’Quan Smith WR (Saints)
(ESPN ownership 13.3%)
Tre’Quan Smith has been a big play guy all season getting all of his production on two or three receptions a game. This week the Saints unleashed their budding star targeting him 13 times which he converted ten catches 157 yards and a TD. While this may be a season-high score the upside is there which makes him a must add if he’s available.
