What’s up everyone. Hope everyone has been enjoying their summer, I definitely have been, I’m currently on vacation at a beach house in Outer Banks, NC. Unfortunately the summer is almost over, and soon the weather will be getting colder, but on the other hand it’s almost time for the NFL season, and one could argue that season is better than the summer. In fact, even though I’m on vacation, I find myself looking forward to this weekend at which time I’ll be drafting my fantasy team for my “Expert” league.
Before we get into everything to look forward to during the season, I just wanted to take a minute and say thank you to all of our readers. When I started this site back in January, mainly doing NBA DFS, I never expected it to grow as big as it has. We now have a total of nine writers covering just about every sport.
It’s because of you, the readers, that it has come this far, and with the NFL season looming, I’m hoping to grow it even more. NFL DFS
@Infantryboys will be doing a weekly preview of all the games for the coming week from a DFS perspective. He is an accomplished DFS player in NFL, NBA, and MLB. He turned an initial $50 deposit in to a couple grand, so his advice is sound, and I personally have learned a lot from him. He will break down each game, and give advice on who the top plays are from each game.
@RotoTrick Similar to his DraftKings/Fanduel MLB advice, RotoTrick will be doing NFL DFS as well. He will feature players he likes based on matchups, recent performance, or recent history against the players current opponent.
@GeoffLambert77 I will doing weekly advice and lineups for both GPP and Cash games, but I’ll be sticking to the Sunday “1pm Only” slates. Similar to my NBA “Dunks, Passes, and Punts” segment, I will break down a few players from each position.
Season-Long NFL
@Farrellfootball will be doing the weekly previews from a season-long perspective. An accomplished writer whose previous experiences includes covering the Redskins and High School football. A former high school and college football player himself, he will break down the games each week pointing out good matchups to exploit, which matchups to avoid, and anything pertinent on a week to week basis to help you stay ahead of your league-mates.
@MBoyne83 will take care of the Weekly Waiver wire pickups. He will also be giving you weekly streaming options for QB/TE/Defense, his IDP (individual defensive players) weekly top picks, and a weekly Sit/Start column.
@GeoffLambert77 I will be doing a weekly column called “Breakout or Fakeout”. It will cover all the “surprise” performances from the previous weekend, and I will tell you if that player is due for a Breakout or was his performance one that he will never come close to matching again, deeming it a Fakeout. I will also be doing a weekly Cut Him/Keep Him. This post probably won’t start till Week 3 or 4, but I will feature highly owned players that aren’t playing up to their potential, and whether or not it’s time to “cut him or keep him”.
NHL/College Football DFS
@FantasyRam will continue to give you MLB DFS advice and lineups, but will also now cover College Football and NHL DFS. An experienced MLB writer for both DFS and season long, he is going to use his college football and hockey knowledge and apply it to the DFS world. Two of the lesser played DFS sports, we may be one of the few to be offering advice and lineups, so that’ll be something I’m looking forward to for sure.
MLB DFS
@FantasyRam/@RotoTrick/@BLB_85 they will continue to give you daily MLB DFS advice as they have all summer.
NBA DFS
@GeoffLambert77 once the season starts, I will continue to do what I first built this site doing, daily NBA DFS advice. Twice a week, my weekly NBA posts will be found on another site. Wednesday’s slates will be found at RotoWriters.com and Friday’s slate will be found on FantasyPros.com.
