Quarterback

The Fanatics Starts of the Week

Kyler Murray (ARI) @ NYG

Related Articles

Kyler Murray finally had his fantasy coming out party in week 6, throwing for 340 yards and three touchdowns. Murray has been ramping up to a fantasy QB stud, scoring 25+ points in each of his last two games. On deck are the New York Football Giants,  who have allowed more than 20 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. New York is also susceptible to the run from quarterbacks, so that adds even more value to Kyler. Start with confidence.

  • Dak Prescott (DAL) vs PHI

The Fanatics Sits of the Week

Sam Darnold (NYJ) vs NE

Darnold was just what the doctor ordered for the Jets offense, as he came back in brilliant fashion, leading a shocking upset against the Cowboys. He looked good in his return from mono last week, throwing for 338 yards with two touchdowns while making seven completions and 240 yards on passes traveling at least 15 yards downfield. He is a strong candidate the ROS, but starting him against the Patriots is not advised. No team has allowed fewer touchdown passes and points to quarterbacks, with the Pats giving up less than 6!!!! fantasy points per game to quarterbacks.

Running Back

The Fanatics Starts of the Week

Josh Jacobs (OAK) @ GB

Jacobs ran for 123 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries and added 20 yards on three catches during Sunday’s 24-21 win. That is major production. Jacobs should be considered a solid fantasy runner when the Raiders travel to Green Bay this week. Their defense has been awful against the run, allowing an average of over five yards per rush and giving up the 3rd most points to opposing running backs. Accordingly, Oakland will feature Jacobs early and often, which should set him up for a big day.

Other Starts

  • Jordan Howard (PHI) @ DAL
  • Marlon Mack (IND) vs HOU

The Fanatics Sits of the Week

Adrian Peterson (WAS) vs SF

Peterson was a popular flex option last week, and he thrived with 136 scrimmage yards against the hapless Dolphins He’ll have a tougher time finding open running room Sunday against the undefeated 49ers. Their defense hasn’t given up a touchdown to a runner this season, and no RB has even been able to reach 15 fantasy points against them. Peterson should be benched in all leagues unless you have no other options.

Other Sits

  • Lesean Mccoy (KC) @ DEN
  • Joe Mixon (CIN) vs JAX

Wide Receiver

The Fanatics Starts of the Week

Michael Gallup (DAL) vs PHI

Gallup has a very enticing matchup this week with the remains of the Eagles secondary. Gallup has averaged 10.8 yards per target this year, and the Eagles have allowed the most WR fantasy points per game in all of football. Gallup has also averaged more than 17 fantasy points per game, and he’s third in the league in yards per game among wide receivers. The absence of Amari Cooper could mean a bunch more targets for Gallup, which should translate to major production. Gallup might even flirt with WR1 numbers, so you should make every effort to get him into your lineup.

Other Starts

  • Kenny Golladay (DET) vs MIN
  • Courtland Sutton (DEN) vs KC

The Fanatics Sits of the Week

Allan Robinson (CHI) vs NO

Robinson caught seven passes for 97 yards and two touchdowns in the Bears’ 24-21 loss last week, providing a solid fantasy outing for his owners. Do not expect that kind of production this week. He will be matched up up against Marshon Lattimore and a Saints defense that has held the last three opposing No. 1 wideouts to a combined 91 yards. Robinson should be in for a major drop off in points, so i would not recommend a start this week at all. If you have any other upside options, play them instead.

  • Keenan Allen (LAC) @ TEN

Tight End

The Fanatics Starts of the Week

Hunter Henry (LAC) @ TEN

Henry seemed to want to remind the world who he is, as he crushed the stat sheet in his return to action. He produced career highs with 8 catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns. I would say not too shabby of a return. He should be a solid option once again, as the Chargers face a Titans defense that has allowed the third most fantasy points  to opposing tight ends this season. The Titans should take away the outside options, which should leave plenty of target for Hunter. Henry may be available in some leagues, as many people don’t realize he is back yet. scoop him if you can.

Other Starts

  • Gerald Everett (LAR) @ ATL
  • Dawson Knox (BUF) vs MIA

The Fanatics Sits of the Week

Delanie Walker (TEN) vs LAC

Walker has struggled in the last couple of weeks. He is averaging only 1.6 targets per game the last 3 weeks, which is terrible. He ranks 21st in targets among tight ends in that time, and his target share in the Titans’ offense has dropped from 19.3 percent to 11.5 percent. He is facing a talented Chargers defense that have allowed less than 4 catches a game to opposing tight ends. Walker should be benched in all formats.

Defense

The Fanatics Starts of the Week

Darius Leonard (IND) vs HOU

Leonard has been out for since the beginning of the season with a concussion. He could not have picked a better spot to return. I believe that Leonard steps right in to a full workload versus Houston. The Texans have allowed 126 total tackles, and six sacks to opposing LBs in 2019. Leonard should step in and have a huge game, and maybe even be LB1 this week. Start him.

Other Starts

  • Tracy Walker (DET) vs MIN
  • Nick Bosa (SF) @ WAS

The Fanatics Sits of the Week

Demarcus Lawrence (DAL) vs PHI

Lawrence has not lived up to the contract that Dallas gave him before the start of the season. Injuries seem to be piling up. In the first six weeks of the season, he has just nine total tackles, 2.5 sacks, a forced fumble and two recovered fumbles. In the last two games, he has just three total tackles combined. This week he has to line up against Lane Johnson, who seems to have had his number in recent years. All these factors combine to make Lawrence a no brainer sit this week.
