2020 Rookie Draft Projection | Late 1st/Early 2nd

Bottom Line

I know, I know, Reagor was “slow” at the combine. If your love for Jalen Reagor was based on .1 seconds on the 40 time then you should be drafting Rugs not Reagor anyways. When watching Jalen Reagor play, he looks like a modern NFL receiver. He shows the wiggle in open space to make plays with the ball in his hands allowing Reagor to be used not only as a pure receiver but also as a gadget player.

As a punt returner in college, Reagor also will provide a boost to whatever NFL team he lands on by getting some extra touches on special teams. Reagor is one of the most athletic wideouts in this class and this will likely turn him into a 1st or  2nd round NFL pick.

If you look at Reagor’s 2019 numbers it is easy to assume his game took a step back. In 2018 Reagor had 72 catches for 1,061 yards and 9 scores for the Horned Frogs, whereas in 2019 he only recorded 43 receptions for 611 and 5 TD’s. This wasn’t on Reagor as TCU’s QB play was among the worst in the nation. On film, Reagor pops off the screen as a deep ball threat but with his elite athleticism and NFL coaching, Reagor could become a great route runner in the NFL.
