NBA Fanduel Lineup 2/11/15 **update**
update Melo is out today, so I’m posting an alternative lineup with Lance Thomas. I like both lineups, so you choose.
*** Now Lance Thomas is out. Go back to original LU. You can out Jason Smith in for Patrick Patterson too.
The games are still going on as I write this, and it’s not looking good for my lineup. Butler got hurt and won’t return. Noah and Sessions are severely under performing. Barring a huge game from Faried, my lineup will miss the cut line.
Only one thing to do, move on to the next day. A huge slate of games on Wednesday. A whopping 12 games will make tonight very interesting. Hopefully I can get back to winning tonight.
The Top 10 was hard to do tonight with the huge slate of games. I started with a list of 15, and had to split hairs to narrow it down to 10.

TODAY’S TOP TEN PLAYS
10) PF Paul Milsap Milsap checks in at number 10 today after easily reaching his value his last time out @MIN. Tonight he has another good matchup with the Boston Celtics. His BL is at 35.5, which he has had trouble reaching lately, but he has played some good defensive teams. Boston is not one of those teams and check in bottom 5 in defense versus PF. I expect close to 40 again tonight.
9) SG Tyreke Evans He plays a tough Pacers team in overall defense, and are middle of the pack at defense versus the PG position, but with a good chance that Anthony Davis is out again, he is going to carry the scoring burden. Couple that with double double potential, he should be able to achieve his 38 BL.Â
8) SF Lebron James Bron checks in fairly low tonight on the Top 10 for a few reasons. One, his BL is at 48.5, a number he hasn’t reached since January 31st, 5 games ago. Two, The Heat are a tough defensive team, and they know LeBron better than anyone else. They will find a way to slow him down. He may not get to his lofty 48.5BL, but I’ll still take 40+.
7) SF Kevin Durant Like LeBron, Durant has a high BL at 47.5, and plays a tough team defensively overall. On the other hand, the one place the Griz do struggle on defense its guarding the shooting guard position.  They allow 35FDP on average to the SF position, and Durant is no average small forward. He would be higher on this list if his partner in crime wasn’t on such a hot streak right now.
6) SG Giannis Antetokounmpo It’s time this guy gets his due. He has one of the higher CVP rates from my chart. His BL is a paltry 30.5, and he has exceeded by at least 4 points over his last 5 games, with one of those games scoring 50FDP. Couple that with a great matchup with the Kings on the back-end of a back to back and he has to be in every lineup.
5)  C Al Horford He had an off night 2 games ago versus the Grizzlies, but followed that up with a 45 versus the Timberwolves. He gets another bad team on his schedule tonight, and should get similar numbers. His BL is at 37, but I expect low 40’s tonight.
4) Gordon Hayward Hayward has become more consistent recently, and I’m not afraid to use him anymore. I had him in a lineup the other night when he scored 54. His BL is little high, at 38, but Dallas gives up 35 on average. Hayward should flirt with 40-45 tonight, and at $8500 won’t break the bank.
3) Russell Westbrook I wanted to put him at number 1 again tonight, I mean how could I not? Over his last 5 he has scored games of 59, 67, and 80! He had 44.5 versus Denver, and people were disappointed! So why 3? Memphis is why. His last game versus Memphis represents his lowest output over his last 10 games. He had 25.5 on January 31st. His BL of 49 and price tag $10900 will be tough to squeeze into a lineup with the potential of a bad game. I’m down on him, and he still checks in at number 3.
2) DeAndre Jordan This will be my most controversial Top 10 pick tonight, maybe ever, but hear me out. Houston’s defense is bad, real bad. The Rockets win games by strictly outscoring you, they don’t even try to play defense. Couple that with the fact it’s the back-end of a back to back for the Rockets, and with Blake out for a while, the Clippers just don’t have a lot of quality big men. He got 39 minutes versus Dallas the other night and put up 62! His BL is at 39, but if he gets 39 minutes versus Houston, he might get 70! I’d be happy with 50.
1) Chris Paul As a current New Orleans Pelicans fan and former New Orleans/Charlotte Hornet fan, I know what Paul is capable of doing when he has to carry a team. He nearly carried the Hornets past the Lakers in the playoffs by himself. It’s no mistake that the 2 games Blake has missed, Paul has put up 50FDP in both games(ok, one was 49.7). Houston will score a lot of points, and not play defense, leaving CP3 and DeAndre Jordan to score, and they will.
 TONIGHT’S DUNKS AND PASSES
DUNKS
- PG Elfrid Payton His BL is at 26, and number he has exceeded over his last 2 games, and he gets the Knicks. I probably could have just said plays the Knicks and moved on.
- PG Tony Parker He is finally getting a full complement of minutes, and is starting to hit his value. At a 24 BL 35-40 point potential, he’ll be hard to pass up.
- SG Jamal Crawford He was just getting used to starting, and then Reddick came back. That didn’t affect his minutes nor his production. He should be able to go over 25FDP again tonight versus Houston.
- SF Chandler Parsons Parsons is currently at a +3.67(plus is good, I flipped the values to make more sense) over his last 5 games, and could have been higher if not for one game. He plays the Jazz who don’t defend Small Forwards very well
- PF Josh Smith They moved him to the bench tonight and he still preformed. He gave the bench more firepower and sparked Houston to a victory over the Suns last night. His BL is at 27 and he has exceeded that 4 of his last 6. He’ll do it again tonight.
PASSES
- PG Kyle Lowry His current BL is at 35.5, a number he hasn’t reached in 8 games! He has by far the worst CVP of any top-tier player at (-9.49). His CVP is the same as Dwight Howard’s, who hasn’t played in forever! I’m avoiding him until his price comes down.
- SG Klay Thompson Klay continues to be over-priced with a BL at 34 and with a CVP of (-8.18) His price needs to drop. He isn’t the type of player that gets you a lot of peripherals, so if he isn’t scoring, he isn’t helping you.
- PF Zach Randolph Though his numbers look good in his game-log, his BL is too high for his price. His BL is nearly 39 and his CVP is at (-7.44) over his last 5.
I wanted to get some more Passes in for tonight, but I’ve run out of time. I’m still working on my Lineup for tonight, and I’ll post it when IÂ feel I have a good one. Has to be better than last night! Until then, check out today’s CVP Chart. Send me your comments and questions.
