Overall Outlook

With Golladay out most of the 2020 season and Jones and Hockenson being Stafford’s best targets, he still managed to throw for 4,084 yards, 26 touchdowns, and only 10 interceptions.  As an avid SEC college fan, I have followed Stafford since he played for the Georgia Bulldogs, and I know that he is going to flourish in Coach McVey’s offensive-minded scheme.  Though the Rams have an excellent running game, Stafford will not be hesitant to sling the ball like we know he can.  Stafford will now have young, speedy, receivers like Kupp, Woods, and rookie Tutu Atwell, and he will connect with them consistently.

I believe that Stafford at age 33 can play for at least another three to five years, and in that time he can lead the Rams to the top of the NFC West.  I know that the NFC is stacked, but the Rams now have all the pieces led by a patient, knowledgable, consistent QB in Stafford.  He will be calm in the pocket and trust his receivers to make the catches.  Stafford has always been able to throw crazy deep balls, and now that he is youth downfield, the Rams are going to be an exciting team to watch.  I project him ending the season at QB11 moving up the tier and being a consistent fantasy QB week in and week out.
