DFS MLB DraftKings Lineup Advice for 6/9/2021

Before I get into my plays I want to remind everyone to check the weather reports before making line ups, it’s usually the first thing I do.

Pitchers

Top-tier | Lance Lynn ($10,400)

I wasn’t about to have my first right up for MLB list Gerrit Cole number 1 against my Twins, however he should probably be in this spot. Lance still hold a 9.66 K/9 rate which isn’t as good as Gerrit Cole who supports a 12.37 K/9. Toronto has the 4th best K rate from a hitters perspective (meaning they don’t strike out much) and The Minnesota Twins are 18th. Gerrit Cole will likely be my play, but I think Lynn is a solid GPP play.

Middle-tier | Casey Mize ($6,800)

Casey Mize has been elite his last 3 starts and there is a lot of strike out to be found in the Seattle line up.

Value-tier | Austin Gomber ($6,000)

For whatever reason this season the entire MLB cannot hit lefties this season, why I have no clue, but Gomber has been awesome his past 3 starts. At just $6,000 in a favorable match up vs Miami, he makes for a great value. Miami is still a great pitchers park as well.

Hitters

Top-tier | Aaron Judge ($5,600)

Aaron Judge hits lefties much better over his career don’t get me wrong , he has only faced Dobnak once in his career in which he came through with a single. I’ll take every AB I can get with a guy like Judge who can probably play Tight-End in the NFL vs Randy Dobnak the former Uber Driver.

Middle-tier | Anthony Rendon ($4,400)

Anthony Rendon has been fairly quiet this season, just hitting .232 with only 3 home runs. I think somethings gotta give here soon with Rendon, and he fits the Angels stack.

Value-tier | Gio Urshela ($3,800)

Another Yankee, how can I even consider myself a Twins fan, well I’ve watched The Yankees Brutalize us for 20+ years, its almost 100 degrees here and The Yankees get to face the former Uber Driver with a 1-5 record and a 6.19 ERA. Urshela hits in the heart of the line up at just $3,800

Stacks

I think both the Yankees Stack and The Angels Stack are viable. The Yankees can be built many different ways but if I am going to pick one it’s 1/3/4/5/8.  The Angles is more clear cut to me it is 1/2/3/4/6.
