The Best DraftKings Cash Game Picks for Week 6 10/17/2021

Quarterback

Taylor Heinicke ($5,800)

We are coming off yet another week where my article cashed and are now 4/5. Week 6 is here and there is really only 1 Quarterback to consider in cash and that’s Taylor Heinicke or as we like to call him Heineken. The WFT and Chiefs game is by far the highest total on the slate. Heinicke not only remains way too cheap but The Chiefs are dead last in the NFL vs Quarterbacks. Heinicke can also add some points on the ground as well putting up 41, 43, and 21 yards rushing in his last 3 games. Heinicke is easily my cash game Quarterback and it really isn’t close.

Running Backs

Jonathan Taylor ($6,600)

Keep an eye on the news here, literally every Running Back has a questionable tag. A lot can change here with news, for example Alexander Mattison last week. Jonathan Taylor gets a dream spot here vs The Texans. I fully expect The Colts to just lean on Taylor this game. The Texans defensively are better than advertised, but this game script is real clear. The Colts should be up early here and with a Running Back like Jonathan Taylor they can bleed the clock on the ground.

Khalil Herbert $4,600

There is a list of about 5 Running Backs that could be played here in the value spot. I’m going with Herbert here though, I think his workload is the safest. I expect to see Herbert touch the ball 20 times here. Damian Williams is out this week with Covid-19 leaving the backfield to just Herbert. The Bears struggle on offense, I don’t expect them to try and throw it 30+ times a game.

Wide Receivers

Terry McLaurin ($7,100)

Terry McLaurin is coming off a quiet week to the naked eye, with just 4 catches and 46 yards in his last game, but let’s not forget he had 11 targets in that game and 13 the game before that. Logan Thomas remains on the IR. I love stacking my Quarterback with a Wide Receiver, and when it’s this obvious there isn’t much more to say.

Keenan Allen ($6,400)

Sooner rather than later Keenan Allen is going to haul in some touchdowns. Keenan Allen is a PPR machine, he is averaging 16.6 DK points per game with only one touchdown. Mike Williams is questionable with a knee injury and did not practice on Thursday. I’m jumping on Allen with or without Williams, this seems like a spot for Allen to get in the end zone and crush this price.

Tight-End

Travis Kelce ($7,000)

Travis Kelce is my top play on the entire slate. I really don’t understand what DraftKings is doing with the pricing on this one. Kelce gives you a 10 target floor and all this dude does is ball out. Tyreek Hill is battling a quad issue, and if Hill misses this game I might have 150 lines of Travis Kelce that’s how much I love him at this price point.

Defense

This play isn’t going to excite anyone. I have fully embraced paying down at defense over the past few weeks and it has worked. My GPP winning lineup had The Jets defense vs The Titans. It doesn’t take much for a cheap defense to get there. Carson Wentz always seems to turn the ball over so I’ll take my shot on Houston at just $2,100.
