Denver Broncos at Cleveland Browns

The injury bug is devastating the Cleveland Browns (3-3) as Baker Mayfield is the latest player listed out for Thursday. Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt, and Jarvis Landry are all listed out. Huge blow to this offense. NFL legend Case Keenum will take the reins of this offense.

Denver (3-3) is coming off a loss to the Raiders after failing to take advantage of the Gruden scandal. Teddy Bridgewater is having a decent start to the year with his new team. He has tossed for 1514 yards, 10 TD, and 4 INTs while completing 139/198 of his passes.

The Denver defense has been great this season and the key to their success. They are 3rd in total yards allowed, 4th in rushing yards, 11th in passing yards allowed, and 4th in points allowed. On top of that, Vom Miller has called his shot and predicted he will go off against the Browns. Miller smells blood in the water and I don’t peg Miller as a liar.

The Browns defense is key to winning this game as the injury bug has left them relatively unscathed. They are 4th in yards allowed, 9th in passing yards allowed, 6th in rushing yards allowed, but sits at 22nd in points allowed which is a little high.

Despite injuries, the Browns are still the favorite to cover the spread with a line of -2.0. If you were lucky enough to get in before the line change at +3.5. You are sitting pretty like myself. I suggest buying a point and laying the +3.0. The injuries may be too much for the Browns to manage. Browns defense should make it a close game.
