Ultimate Rookie Report Week 18
The last week of the season is always weird. Some teams care, most teams don’t. Going into the week, if making the playoffs are not on the line, it’s a real crapshoot of what’s going to happen. Luckily a couple of our dear friends came out to play and put up solid numbers for some positive momentum heading into their sophomore year!
These guys are ranked by their PPR numbers despite the fact that most fantasy leagues are already done for the season. Also, I’ve kept track of 45 different players this season. In a week like this, there may have been some random people pop but if they weren’t already on my list, they’re not going to make it this week. Sorry.

Malik Nabers is the bright spot on the Giants’ offense. It needs a total overhaul, but at least WR1 is locked down. For the final week of his rookie season, Nabers caught five passes for 64 yards and a touchdown.

Another week of what could have been had Pearsall had a full season. With Josh Dobbs in at quarterback, Pearsall caught six passes for 69 yards and a touchdown. What the Niners receiving corps looks like next year will be intriguing to watch going forward. It could be a devastatingly good trio with Pearsall, Aiyuk, and Deebo, but I have seen rumors of the organization trading Deebo.

McMillan started slow this season, but when he popped, he really popped, and stayed consistent for the rest of the year. From week 14 to the end of the season, McMillan was the 8th best wide receiver in the league. For his final performance of the season, he caught five passes for 74 yards and a touchdown.

Penix has been pretty solid since taking the starting job from Kirk Cousins earlier in week 16. Having the Carolina Panthers on your schedule is a good way to help anyone pad their stats. Penix threw for 312 yards and two touchdowns this week and rushed for five yards and another touchdown. The Falcons faithful seemingly don’t have to look for a new signal caller next year.

Denver needed to win to make it to the postseason and Bo Nix absolutely crushed it. Bo completed 26/29 passes for 321 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 47 yards. Who expected Bo would be the 7th best fantasy quarterback of the year?
There are a couple of big name rookies in the playoffs this year. Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix, Jalen McMillan, Ladd McConkey are all participating in wildcard weekend and Xavier Worthy rejoins the party the week after. I MAY put something out next week but I want to put together a comprehensive analysis of the season (and actually publish it this year).
I appreciate all of you for reading these analyses. I hope they were enjoyable or helpful or infuriating. Let me know!
Love,
