San Francisco Giants vs Arizona Diamondbacks

The Giants might be the surprise of the MLB this season. They are simply dominating the competition. They are getting the most from all their okayers and have made a splash in the free agency by acquiring All-Star Kris Bryant. The front office is obviously hyped about this team making a deep run and you know what? Why not? They are thriving in a division that includes the Dodgers and Padres.

The Giants will give the starting nod to DeSclafani (10-5). He’s been excellent through 122 inngings striking out 113 batters. He is maintaining a WHIP of 1.03 and an ERA of 3.10.

The Arizona Diamondbacks are also AirPrint the league, but for the wrong reasons. They are historically a terrible team which is actually impressive. Arizona a team to bet against they do not have much hope. However, Widener has some hope to give his ball club. He has only pitched 36.2 innings but has managed to average one K per inning while only walking 15 batters. He has an ERA of 4.42 and a whip of 1.39. Not terrible.

The Giants should win this game and even though the ML isn’t available yet. The Giants should win this game.

Philadelphia Phillies vs Washington Nationals

The Phillies are barely making it above water as they remain one game below .500 but are still in contention for their division as they sit in 2nd place. Lucky for them, the Nationals sold nearly everything as Juan Soto remains the sole survivor after the trade deadline.

The underperforming Phillies will send out Suarez (5-3) to the mound. He ha thrown fairly decent through 40.2 innings striking out 42 batters while walking only 15. He should have a decent performance considering the Nationals have given up.

The Phillies are the slight favorite at -120 which suggests Vegas might think game is close. However, the Phillies aren’t playing up to their ability and the Nationals have given up. Id place my money on the Phillies coming out strong.
