Philadelphia 76ers at Brooklyn Nets

The 76ers are lucky to be alive after nearly escaping the onslaught of Beal’s 60 point effort.

They scraped by with a terrific effort from their starting five as all scored at least 15 points and shot lights out from range.

The 76ers are rolling and tout the best record in the league at 7-1. They come into Brooklyn as the favorite at -2.0. The 76ers struggled last season on the road and they get an improved Nets team who is .500.

The Nets are still trying to find their identity and have gotten excellent play from players such as Kyrie and Allen.

Allen had a monstrous game a couple of nights ago. Dropping 19 points and getting 18 rebounds against Gobert. He’s shaping up to be a force down low.

The Nets might have a hard time matching up with the 76ers without KD in the lineup. However, with excellent play from Kyrie, Allen, and other players such as Harris and LeVert. They can still compete against anyone.

Th 76era are hot and will get a Nets team playing all out at home to show they are contenders in the East. The 76ers are bound to drop a game soon and the Nets at home might be the game. The play here is Nets +2.0.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Memphis Grizzlies

The Cavaliers are coming into Memphis on a two-game losing streak and are sitting at 4-4 on the season. A lot better than what everyone initially thought.

The duo of “Sexland” has been pretty solid this season except for the last two games where generating offense was the main problem. However, Sexton has set a franchise record of scoring 20 or more points through the first eight games of the season. You would think Lebron would have this record which make it pretty impressive. Sexton is currently averaging 25.7 PPG, 3.4 APG, and 2.0 RPG. Pretty solid numbers from a young star in the making.

Drumond has been dominating the paint for Cavaliers akin to his Detroit Pistons days. He is averaging a double-double on 16 PPG and 14.0 RPG.

The Memphis Grizzlies are certainly missing their best players. Ja Morant is still out along with Jackson Jr.
