Buy and Sell These Dynasty Fantasy Players Now (Week 7)
Six weeks down and twelve weeks to go. Here is a look at last week’s dynasty buys and sells. As for buys and sells for dynasty heading into Week 7, well you will have to keep reading.
BUY THIS

WHY: Epitome Of Buying LOW
Dotson’s sophomore season has started as more of a slump than a thump. Through Week 6, Dotson sits at WR-69 (stifle your laughter) despite handling a snapshare commensurate with fellow starting WR Terry McLaurin.
The Commanders receiver who has made the most of his opportunities, Curtis Samuel, already has three total TDs and has a targets per route run (TPRR) rate of 17%. Samuel also has the lowest average depth of target (ADOT) on the season amongst the starting WRs of 7.4 yards.
The Eric Bieniemy system has split the receiving work more evenly amongst McLaurin, Dotson and Samuel, with Dotson not earning an approximately 37% shorter ADOT and not single TD as compared to his seven in 2022. Buying Dotson now is believing in his talent and anticipating growth in the new offensive system going forward.
Wan’Dale Robinson(WR-New York Giants)
WHY: Increased Usage In Offense That Needs Playmakers
Through four weeks, since his return from injury, Robinson has generated more fantasy points per game than any of his fellow receivers and only 0.2 points behind fantasy football’s offseason darling Darren Waller.
Most importantly, Robinson is being well-utilized with the lowest ADOT of any Giants receiver and a healthy TPRR of 26% on the season. With steady targets so close to the line of scrimmage, Robinson is able to get more catchable targets and offer a steady PPR floor despite the Giants’ offensive struggles.
Entering Week 7, Tyrod Taylor is likely primed for another start and Saquon Barkley is back for his second consecutive game. As this Giants team looks to get back to its 2022 ways, look for Wan’Dale Robinson to remain a part of Daboll’s gameplan.
More Buys: Chuba Hubbard (RB-Carolina Panthers) & DeVonta Smith (WR-Philadelphia Eagles)
SELL THAT

WHY: Opportunity Does Not Always Lead To Production
It is safe to say we are all still pinching ourselves with how productive the Rams’ offense has been in 2023. After trading away Cam Akers, there was uncertainty as to who would lead the backfield until 2022 fifth-round pick Kyren Williams stepped up and through Week 6 is the RB-5 in fantasy.

Now after being a healthy scratch for more than half of the season, behind Ronnie Rivers, Zach Evans is being elevated to the RB-1 on the Rams’ depth chart. Does this mean Evans is bestowed the same workhorse role that Williams previously occupied? I remain skeptical.
In a flurry of roster moves, the Rams added Royce Freeman, Myles Gaskin and Darrell Henderson to the RB room. While it is commonplace for a team to add depth following injury, adding these veterans, two of which have been on this roster before, signal McVay looking for familiarity. Even if Williams is out for an extended period of time, sell another dynasty manager on the idea that Evans is poised to breakout.
Jakobi Meyers (WR-Las Vegas Raiders)
WHY: Uncertainty Of Opportunity Week-To-Week
Just outside of the top-12, Meyers sits at WR-15 through Week 6 behind fellow Raider Davante Adams at WR-10. Meyers is the ideal Robin to Adams’ Batman, as he is the clear second target ahead of Hunter Renfrow or any other Raider pass catcher. Beginning Week 5 there was a shift that began.
Rookie TE Michael Mayer has seen his role grow from two targets from Week 1 to Week 4 to nine targets in the past two weeks. I do not anticipate Mayer will replace Meyers as the Raiders’ second-leading pass catcher. However, this usage could diminish Meyers’ TD upside and reduce his targets that has made him so PPR-friendly.
By season’s end, Meyers hopefully remains in the top-24 of WRs. Sell another dynasty manager of the belief that Meyers can maintain his current pace as the WR-15.
More Sells: Tyler Higbee (RB-Los Angeles Rams) & Kendrick Bourne (WR-New England Patriots)
