Cut ‘Em or Keep ‘Em Week 10: Injuries open door for Hollins
In last week’s article, I referenced two wide receivers who should be kept despite disappointing seasons so far. Both receivers were on a bye last week, so I hope fantasy managers kept them on their rosters despite a week where six teams were on a bye.
In the Cut ‘Em section I mentioned Hunter Henry and Marvin Jones, who both finished with nine-point performances in PPR, according to FantasyPros. Not terrible but not something fantasy managers should regret missing out on.

Jonathan Taylor missed the Colts’ Week 9 game against the Patriots and many people believed it was Jackson’s time to shine. It didn’t happen that way. Jackson had the majority of the running back touches in the first three quarters but it resulted in only 13 touches for 36 total yards and zero touchdowns.
He suffered a knee injury and missed the last 14 minutes of the game. Monitor his health moving forward. Zach Moss was inactive Sunday, while Jackson, Phillip Lindsay, and Jordan Wilkins were active.
Taylor returned to practice Wednesday and the Colts released Lindsey from the practice squad. If Jackson’s injury isn’t serious, he holds value even if Taylor is healthy.
Mack Hollins (LV)
Keeping Hollins has nothing to do with how good of a receiver he is. In fantasy football, opportunity is king and Hollins should have a lot of it moving forward.
The Raiders announced on Thursday that Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow were placed on injured reserve, meaning they’ll miss at least the next four games. That means Hollins is the unquestioned second option in the passing game behind Davante Adams. Hold on to Hollins to see what he does in the next few weeks.
Cut ‘Em
Elijah Moore (NYJ)
Garrett Wilson played 43 of his 57 snaps as an outside receiver, making it the most he’s played on the outside relative to the slot all season.
That is the role Moore once had, according to PFF, and Wilson’s success makes it unlikely Moore gets the job back anytime soon.
Moore played only in three-receiver sets and was constantly lining up in the slot.
This is a role he played in college, but he hadn’t played there much in the NFL. He didn’t see a target in this game and was splitting time in three-receiver sets, with Braxton Berrios till seeing a share of snaps from the slot.
The Jets passing game isn’t prolific enough to sustain more than one viable fantasy receiver at this point. Wilson seems like the No. 1 receiver and barring an injury, that should continue.

Robert Woods (TEN)
Woods didn’t catch his lone target in last week’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Rookie Malik Willis was the quarterback in that game, but Woods’ outlook hasn’t changed that much with Ryan Tannehill.
Sunday was Woods’ fifth-straight game and seventh total game total under 40 receiving yards. He has not caught more than four passes in a game.
Rooke Treylon Burks should be returning from injured reserve soon and could take targets away from Woods.
