Jordan Matthews, (BUF) 89.7% owned
Giovani Bernard, (CIN) 92.4% owned
As I predicted prior to the season, Joe Mixon has emerged as the clear-cut starter early in the season for the Bengals. While he struggled in his first true start, Mixon’s workload will go anywhere but down. This change spells trouble for Bernard, who has even lost some of his role as a receiving back. So far this season, Bernard has the same amount of targets as his rookie counterpart, Mixon actually has a higher rate of receptions. With Mixon’s ability to serve a three-down back, Bernard has little value in fantasy. Verdict: Cut
Corey Davis, (TEN) 68.0% Owned
Philip Rivers, (LAC) 56.4% Owned
Rivers enters week 4 as the 24th ranked quarterback in the NFL. While normally a bottom 10 ranked QB in fantasy is not worth owning, Rivers is. He recorded 17 points in each of the first two weeks, which would rank as the 10th QB in PPG. Additionally, in his first three weeks, Rivers faced two top defenses in the Chiefs and Broncos. His schedule gets easier throughout the year, and he should be able to bounce back to the 17 PPG stat line soon. Verdict: Keep
